dc.description.abstractBu çalışma, İstanbul'un çok katmanlı tarihini yansıtan Panagia Mukhliotissa Kilisesi'nin tarihsel sürecini, Kanlı Kilise'nin kesintisiz ibadet mekânı olarak korunmasını ve Prenses Maria Palaiologina'nın tarih içindeki rolünü ele almaktadır. Belgesel film yöntemiyle, tarihsel gerçekliğe bağlı kalarak bu anlatımın nasıl aktarıldığı incelenmektedir. Belgeselde, Prenses Maria'nın Bizans ve Moğollar arasındaki diplomatik rolü ve İstanbul'a dönüşü sonrası Kanlı Kilise'yi yeniden inşa ettirmesi anlatılmaktadır. Bu çalışma; kilisenin tarihsel kimliğini, kültürlerarası iletişime katkısını ve farklı medeniyetler içinde nasıl korunduğunu akademik ve sanatsal bir bakış açısıyla aktarmayı hedeflemektedir.
dc.description.abstractThis study examines the historical process of Panagia Mukhliotissa Church, reflecting the multilayered history of Istanbul, the continuous preservation of Bloody Church as a place of worship, and the historical role of Princess Maria Palaiologina. It explores how this narrative is conveyed through documentary filmmaking while maintaining historical authenticity. The film presents Princess Maria's diplomatic role between Byzantium and the Mongols and her reconstruction of Bloody Church upon returning to Istanbul. This study aims to convey the historical identity of the church, its contribution to intercultural communication and how it is preserved within different civilizations from an academic and artistic perspective.
