dc.description.abstractIn this study, missing data in the basic indicators of universities within the scope of the Indicator Evaluation Report shared on the official website of the Higher Education Quality Council (Y & Ouml;KAK) were examined. Indicator reports of universities have an important place in terms of strategic management and quality assurance. In this context, the structure of missing data was analyzed through a panel data set created within the framework of completely missing at random (MCAR), missing at random (MAR) and non-random missing (MNAR) categories. The findings show that the missing data predominantly have a random structure. The study emphasizes that determining whether the missing data is random or systematic is critical in terms of choosing the right methods in the analysis process. In this context, a discussion was carried out on appropriate data completion methods so that higher education institutions can evaluate their performance more accurately and develop strategies to increase quality.
