Özet
Son yıllarda bilginin önemi giderek artış göstermiştir. Teknolojinin gelişmesi ve ilerlemesiyle birlikte, ekonomik faaliyetler global bir yapıya dönüşmüştür. Bu durum rekabet ortamında bilginin üstünlüğünü ortaya çıkarmıştır. Kuruluşlar faaliyetlerini bilgi teknolojileri yardımıyla yaymış ve diğer kurumlarla girilen rekabet ortamından bilgi ve bilgi teknolojilerini hedefe yönelmiş planlı eylemler olarak kullanmışlardır. Toplumun her bir ferdi yaşanan bu değişim ve gelişmelerin yanında yer almak zorundadırlar, bu da ancak sürekli eğitim ile olmaktadır. Yalnızca bireysel olarak değil, her işveren, her kurum, her meslek, her iş gören kendi hedefleri doğrultusunda bu değişimleri dikkatle izlemek zorundadırlar. Bireyler şahsi yararları ve gelişimleri için yaygın eğitim sonrası üst düzey eğitimleri takip ederken, meslekler çeşitli mesleki konulardaki gelişmeleri meslek gruplarına çeşitli eğitim programlarıyla vermektedir. Kurumlar ise kendi kuruluşlarında çalışan bireylere sürekli ve sistemli bir şekilde hizmet içi eğitim programları düzenleyerek değişime ayak uydurma çabasındadır. Yapılan bu çalışmada belirtilen faktörler doğrultusunda hizmet içi eğitim ile ilgili kavramsal bilgiler ile hizmet içi eğitim program süreci ve içeriği hakkında genel bilgiler verilmektedir. Sağlık kurumlarında hizmet içi eğitimin içeriği ve süreci ile ilgili genel bilgiler verilerek, hizmet içi eğitimin sağlık alanındaki yeri ve önemi ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Every employer, every institution, every profession, changes in accordance with their target must watch carefully. individuals, while following high-level training for the development of post-formal education, vocational developments in various professional issues, serve with educational programs. The institutions, the individuals working in their organization is to adapt to change in a systematic way by organizing in-service training program efforts. In this study, the factors that determine the direction of in-service program process and conceptual information related to education and provides information about the content.in-service training by giving general information about the content and the process has revealed the importance of in-service training in the health field.
