dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı, Y kuşağı çalışanlarının iş hayatındaki beklentilerinin incelenmesidir. Kurumların Y kuşağını tanıyarak, kendilerini gözden geçirmelerini ve işletmelerinde, sistemlerinde güncelleme yapma gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarması açısından önem taşımaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında İstanbul'daki hizmet sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 232 kişinin katılımıyla anket uygulaması gerçekleşmiştir. Bu çalışmanın asıl amacı olan Y kuşağının, iş dünyasındaki beklentileri diğer kuşaklardan farklı mıdır sorusuna yanıt aranmıştır. Anket aracılığıyla elde edilen verilerin analizleri ve testleri göstermiştir ki; Y kuşağı çalışanları iş dünyasında diğer kuşaklara göre farklı beklentilere sahiptir.
dc.description.abstractTheaim of thisthesis is toexamineandinvestigate Y- Generationemployees' expectations in theirbusiness life. Theimportance of thisstudy is becuse it leadstheinstitutionstoaffiliatethe Y- Generationbyprovidingthattheyfirstlycheckupandexaminethemselvesandsecondlythey do somenecessaryupdatesaccordingtocurrentrequirements in theirsystemsandmanagements. Withinthescope of thisinvestigation, a survey has beencarriedoutwiththeparticipation of 232 peoplelabouring in the service sector of İstanbul. The main goal of thisexamination is thefollowingquestion: "Do the Y- Generation'sexpectationsdifferfromothergenerations?" Theanalysisandthetests of thedataobtained in theduration of thesurveyindicatesthattheemployeespertainingtothe Y- Generationpossessby a notablylargeamount of diverseexpectations in comparisonwiththeothergenerations in thebusinessworld.
