Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin uyguladığı hemşirelik bakımının ve ameliyathane ortamının hastalar üzerindeki etkilerinin değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Hastaneler bireylerin sağlıklı hayatının korunması ve devamı amacıyla dahili ve cerrahi alanlarda hizmet veren kurumlardır. Cerrahi alanda hizmet birimi olan ameliyathaneler, hasta birey üzerinde fizyolojik, psikolojik ve sosyal açıdan farklı etkiler göstermektedir. Yapılan çalışma, ameliyathane ortamının ve ameliyathane hemşirelerinin uyguladıkları bakım hizmetlerinin hastalar üzerindeki etkilerinin nasıl olacağını araştırmak amacıyla, İstanbul ili, Avrupa yakası bir üniversite hastanesinde 18 yaş ve üzeri, bilinci açık ve cerrahi işlem geçirmiş 150 hastaya, sosyo-demografik özellikte soruların bulunduğu Hasta Tanıtım Formu ve Kaliteli Perioperatif Hemşirelik Bakım Skalası kullanılarak hazırlanan anketler uygulanmıştır. Genel olarak araştırma kapsamındaki hastaların verdikleri ortalama puan, 130 puan üzerinden 103,49±18,65 bulunmuş ve yaklaşık olarak hastaların %80'i ameliyathane hemşirelik bakımını ve ameliyathane ortamını olumlu değerlendirmiştir. Yüksek olumluluk oranına rağmen, skalada yer alan bilgi verme ve destek alt boyutlarına verilen puanların en düşük değerler olması hastalar ile yeterli iletişim sağlanmadığını düşündürmektedir. Hastaların cinsiyetine, mesleklerine ve uygulanan anestezi çeşidine göre ameliyathane ortamını ve hemşirelik bakım hizmetini değerlendirmesi anlamlı derecede yüksek bulunmuştur. Kadın, ev hanımı ve lokal anestezi uygulanan hastaların ameliyathanede uygulanan hemşirelik bakımından ve ameliyathane ortamından daha memnun oldukları gözlenmiştir. Hastaların ameliyathane ortamını ve uygulanan hemşirelik bakımını olumlu değerlendirdiği ve hasta beklentisinin yüksek oranda karşılandığı söylenebilir.
Hospitals are institutions that serve in the medical and surgical fields in order to protect and continue a healthy life of the individuals. Operating rooms, which are surgical field service units, show different effects on the patient's physiological, psychological and social status. Therefore, questionnaire with socio-demographic questions using Quality Perioperative Nursing Care Scale were applied to 150 patients over 18 years of age who underwent a surgical procedure in an university hospital in Istanbul European side in order to evaluate the impact of the operating room environment and the operating room nursing care. According to this objective, overall average score given by the patients were found 103.49 ± 18.65 out of 130 points and approximately 80% of patients evaluated operating room nursing care and operating room environment positively. Despite high positivity rate, it suggests that there is inadequate communication with patients because lowest scores in the scale are given to information and support. Evaluation of the operating room and nursing care services were found higher according to gender and occupation; female patients, housewives and patients who received lacal anesthesia have been observed to be more satisfied with nursing care administered in the operating room and with operating room environment. We can say that patients evaluate operating room environment and nursing care positively and patient's expactations are met.
