dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada, tiroid hastalarının kişilik özellikleri, stres ve yaşam kalite düzeyleri ile herhangi bir tiroid hastalığı olmayan kişilerin kişilik özellikleri, stres ve yaşam kalite düzeylerinin karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Eysenck Kişilik Anketi- Gözden Geçirilmiş Kısa Formu (EKA-GGK), Algılanan Stres Ölçeği (ASÖ) ve Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği Kısa Formu (WHOQOL-BREF) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Türkiye'nin çeşitli illerinde yaşayan tiroid hastaları ve herhangi bir tiroid rahatsızlığı bulunmayan kişiler oluşmaktadır. Araştırmaya 51'i hipotiroidi, 20'si hipertiroidi ve 82'si kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 153 kadın ve erkek katılmıştır. Katılımcılardan elde edilen veriler, SPSS versiyon 22.0 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, tiroid hastalarının kişilik özelliklerinin nörotisizm boyutu açısından, kontrol grubundan istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılaşma olduğu görülmüştür. Psikotisizm boyutunda ise kontrol grubu hipertiroid grubundan daha fazla skor alarak farklılaşma göstermiştir. Ayrıca tiroid hastalarının algıladıkları stres düzeylerinin daha fazla olduğu ve yaşam kalitelerinin daha düşük olduğu elde edilen bulgular arasındadır. Araştırma ile ilgili bulgular literatürde yer alan ilgili bilgiler doğrultusunda yorumlanarak tartışılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to compare the personality, the level of stress and life quality of thyroid patient with the people who don't have any thyroid problems. In this research Personal Information Form, The Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Brief Version, Perceived Stress Scale and WHO Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) is used for the information source. The subjects for this research includes normal and thyroid patient from different part of the Turkish Republic. This research includes totally 153 male and female; in which 51 are hypothyroidism, 20 are hyperthyroidism patients and 82 normal control group. The data collected from the subjects is statistically analyzed by using software SPSS version 22.0. It is observed from the point of neuroticism that the personality of the thyroid patients shows significant difference among the control group. From point of psychoticism, control group shows higher difference than hyperthyroidism group. Also according to the collected data the level of stress perceived by thyroid patients is much higher and their life standards are lower in comparison to who doesn't have any thyroid disease. The literature and the previous researchers observations has been also considered for investigating this research .
