dc.description.abstractFarklı kimliklerin toplumsal alanda birbirleri ile olan etkileşimi, bu etkileşimin kimliklerin özgün yapılarına etkileri ve bu kimlik özelliklerinin sosyal aktarımı birçok sosyal bilim disiplini tarafından incelenmektedir. Tez çalışmasının konusu, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin sınır bölgesinde yer alan ve günümüzde çok etnikli, çok dinli, çok dilli toplumsal bir dokuya sahip Hatay'ın toplumsal dokusu içinde nüfusunun neredeyse tamamını Ermenilerin oluşturduğu bir köy olan (günümüzde mahalle statüsüne geçmiş) Vakıflı'nın sosyal yapısıdır. Bu bağlamda, Vakıflı'daki Ermeni nüfusun kültürel ve sosyal yapılarının geçmişten günümüze geçirdiği dönüşümler, günümüzde burada yaşayan insanların kendilerini tanımlamaları ve topluluğu bir arada tutan etniklik ve dini temellere dayalı unsurların incelenmesi bu tez çalışmasının sorunsalını oluşturmaktadır. Bu çerçevede Vakıflı'nın sosyal yapısının incelenmesi Bourdieu'nün Sermaye ve Durkheim'ın Dayanışma, kooperatifçilik ve taşınabilir, taşınamaz kültürel miras kavramsallaştırmaları üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Çalışma, araştırmacının katılımlı gözlemi ve toplam nüfusun yaklaşık olarak dörtte birini kapsayan bir saha araştırması ile 2018 yılında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Vakıflı'nın sosyal yapısının nüfus özellikleri, kültürel ve sembolik sermaye aktarım aracı olarak din ve dil, ekonomik sermayenin rolü, bir topluluk dayanışması biçimi olarak kooperatifçilik tecrübesi ile ilgili bulgulara erişilmiş ve tezin sorunsalı bağlamında çözümlemeleri yapılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractThe interaction of different identities with each other in the social field, the effects of this interaction on the genuine structure of these identities and the social transition of the qualities of the identity are studied by many social science disciplines. The subject of the thesis work is the social structure of Vakıflı, a village nearly all of the population is composed of Armenians (today transformed to the status of district); within the social texture of Hatay, located in the border area of the Republic of Turkey having a multi ethnic, multi religion, multi lingual formation. Within this context the transformation of the cultural and social structures of the Armenian population from the past to the present, the self description of the people living and the elements based on ethnicity and religion holding together the community of Vakıflı forms the problematic of this thesis study. In this framework the study of Vakıflı's social structure are dealt with via the conceptualizations of Bourdieu's Capital, Durkheim's Solidarity, cooperatives and the tangible and intangible cultural heritage. The study is realised in the year 2018 with the researcher's participant observation and the field work nearly composed of the one forth of the total population. Upon the completion of the research; findings about the the population characteristics of the social structure, religion and language as a vehicle of tranference of cultural and symbolic capital, the role of economic capital, the experience of cooperatives as a form of communal solidarity are reached and are analysed within the context of the problematic of the thesis.
