dc.description.abstractBu tezde tıbbi atık ve tıbbi atığın insan ve çevre sağlığı üzerindeki etkileri açıklanmış, sağlık hizmetlerinde tıbbi atık yönetiminin yeri üzerinde durulmuştur. Araştırma yapılan hastanelerden tıbbi atık yönetimi ile ilgili yanlış uygulamalar, eksik yönler belirlenerek karşılaştırma yapılmıştır Birinci bölümde sağlık, sağlık hizmetleri kavramı, özellikleri, Türkiye'de sağlık hizmetleri sunumu açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde tıbbi atıklar, tıbbi atıkların çevre ve insan sağlığına etkileri, tıbbi atık yönetimi, Türkiye'deki uygulamalar. üçüncü bölümde Serinhisar ve Çardak Entegre İlçe Devlet Hastanelerinin Atık Yönetimi Örnekleri, çalışan personelin bilgi tutum ve davranışları anket ve gözlem, görüşme yöntemleri ile tespit edilerek sorunlar saptanmıştır. Bu çalışmada çevre ve halk sağlığı açısından tıbbi atık yönetiminin büyük önem taşıdığı görülmüş, sağlık personelinin hizmet içi eğitim ve denetiminin gerekliliği ortaya konmuştur Anahtar Kelimeler : Tıbbi atık, tıbbi atık yönetimi, sağlık çalıĢanları,
dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, medical waste and effects of medical waste on human and environmental health weree xplained and the importance of medical waste management in health services wasstressed. Thewron gapplications about medical waste management in hospitals wherere searches were made were determined and missing points were compared. In the first section, concept of health and health services, properties, presentation of health services in Turkey weree xplained. In the second section; medical waste, effects of medical waste on human and environmental health, medical waste management . previous studies and appplications made in Turkey, abou medical waste. In the thirtd section; samples of Serinhisar and Çardak Public Hospitals' MedicalWaste Management, behaviours and attitudes of hospitals taff were seacrhed by question naire, observation and interview methodsand problems were determined. In this study, importance of medical waste management in terms of human and environmental health wasrealized. The necessity of staff's in-service training and supervision came out.
