dc.description.abstractKamuoyunun sokak çocuklarına bakış açısının değiştirilmesi büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bunun için sergilenen çabalarda, bu çocukların bir tehdit oluşturmaktan çok, kendilerinin tehdit altında olduğu vurgulanmalıdır. Hiçbir çocuk sokaklarda çalışmak veya yaşamak istemez. Hedef bu olgunun nedenlerini ortaya çıkarmak, çocukları yeniden aile ortamlarına ve okullara yöneltmek olmalıdır. Çocuk hakları yalnızca hükümetlerin ve yasa koyucuların dikkat edip gözetecekleri bir konu değildir. Bu herkesin sorumluluk üstlenmesi gereken bir konudur ve çocuklar nasıl yaşamımızda merkezi bir yer tutuyorlarsa, çocuk hakları da böyle olmalıdır. dc.description.abstractIt is very important to change the public opinion?s point of view of the children living on the streets. In efforts to achieve this, it must be emphasized that these children are under threat, rather than posing a threat. No child wants to live or work on the streets. The aim must be to find the reasons of this fact and direct the children towards family environments and schools once again. Child rights is not a subject to be considered and looked after for only by governments and law-makers. This is a subject that everyone must take responsibility. Child rights must take a major place in our lives, just like children.
