dc.description.abstractDünya ölçeğinde hakim siyasi ve ekonomik ideoloji olan neoliberal küreselleşme, tüm toplumsal olguları ve yaşam biçimlerini etkisi altına almıştır. Yaşanan bu süreçten kent ve konut üretimi de etkilenmiş, konut yeni nitelikler kazanarak yapısal ve anlamsal dönüşüm geçirmiştir. 'Rezidans' ve kapalı yerleşmeler de bu dönüşümün kentsel alandaki ürünleridir. Günümüzde, konut üretiminin, yeni değer sistemleri ve ilişki ağları çerçevesinde, küresel bir üretime dönüşmesi noktasında, 'rezidans' fiziksel bir barınak olmanın ötesinde farklı bir yapıyı temsil etmektedir. 'Rezidans kültürü', mimari yaklaşımı ve mekansal organizasyonu ile birlikte sunduğu yaşam biçimi bağlamında yeni bir toplumsal olgudur.
dc.description.abstractNeoliberal globalization which is the dominating political and economic ideology across the world, has affected all social phenomena and lifestyles. Urbanization and housing production have also been affected by this process, housing has undergone structural and semantic transformation by acquiring new qualifications. 'Rezidans' and gated communities are the outputs of this transformation. Today, as housing production has transformed to a global production based on new value systems and relationship networks, 'rezidans' represents a different artifact beyond being a physical shelter. 'Rezidans culture' is a new social phenomenon in context of its architectural approach, spatial organisation and lifestyle that is presented.
