dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye'de kamuda ve özel sektörde çalışan psikologların iş doyumu, mesleki tükenmişlik ve duygusal zekâ düzeylerinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Çalışmanın örneklemini toplam 200 psikolog oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada Gözden geçirilmiş Schutte Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği, Maslach Tükenmişlik ölçeği, Minnesota İş Doyumu Ölçeği (kısa form) ve katılımcıların sosyo-demografik özelliklerini belirlemek için araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan bir kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda özel kurumda çalışan psikologların iş doyumu ve kişisel başarı düzeylerinin kamu kurumunda çalışan psikologlara oranla daha yüksek olduğu; kamu kurumunda çalışan psikologların ise özel kurumda çalışan psikologlara oranla duyarsızlaşma düzeylerinin daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ek olarak, kamu kurumunda çalışan psikologların iş doyumu düzeyleri yükseldikçe kişisel başarı düzeylerinin yükseldiği ve duygusal zekâ düzeyleri yükseldikçe duygusal tükenme ve tükenmişlik düzeylerinin düştüğü; özel kurumda çalışan psikologların ise iş doyumu düzeyleri yükseldikçe kişisel başarı düzeylerinin yükseldiği ve duygusal tükenme, duyarsızlaşma ve tükenmişlik düzeylerinin düştüğü sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractThe object of this study is the comparison of professional satisfaction, burn-out and emotional intelligence levels of the psychologists who work in public and private institutions in Turkey. The sample of this study consists 200 psychologists in total. The Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale, The Maslach Burn-out Inventory, The Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (brief form) and a personal data form prepared by the investigator in order to obtain socio-demographic characteristics of the subjects are used in the study. The results showed that the psychologists working in private institutions' professional satisfaction and personal achievement levels were higher than psychologists working in public institutions; psychologists working in public institutions' desensitization levels were higher than psychologists working in private institutions. Additionally, personal achievement levels were increasing by higher job satisfaction levels and emotional exhaustion and burn-out levels were decreasing by higher emotional intelligence levels in psychologists working in public institutions; personal achievement levels were increasing and emotional exhaustion, desensitization and burnout levels were decreasing by higher job satisfaction levels in psychologists working in private institutions, have been found.
