| dc.description.abstract | ?Harici Zihin? adlı tez çalışması, ?neden biriktiririz?? sorusunun cevap arayışı sürecinde, değişik zaman ve mekanlarda toplanmış nesnelerin oluşturduğu öznel bir duygu haritasını, farklı bir üretim ortamında yeniden tanımlamaya çalışan deneysel bir video projesidir.Tez çalışmasının ilk bölümünde deneysel sinemanın ortaya çıkışı ve bu akıma ait bazı sanatçıların işleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Avrupa'da `Avant-Garde', `Amerika' da ise `Undergound' olarak tanımlanan deneysel sinemanın günümüzdeki yeni uzantısı olarak nitelendirilen `Video Sanatı' ise ikinci bölümün konusudur. Üçüncü ve son bölüm ise toplamak ve biriktirmek kavramları üzerine oluşturulmuş düşüncelere ve projenin oluşum sürecinin anlatılmasına ayrılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The thesis project entitled "External Mind" is an experimental video project that attempts to redefine a specific subjective emotional map that is made up of objects gathered from different places and from different fragments of time. While conceptually grounding itself in a period of search for possible answers to the question of "why do we collect /gather?", this process based video also aims for other ways of art production.In the initial part of the thesis project, the emphasis is on the origins of experimental cinema with a special focus on some artists' work that are considered to be examples of this genre. The subject of the second part of the thesis is "Video Art" which is considered to be the contemporary new generation of experimental cinema which was named "Avant-Garde" in Europe and "Underground" in the United States.The third section is mostly conceptual, with an aim to express some thoughts that have built upon the concepts of "gathering" and "collecting". The process of evolution of the project is also explained in this final section. | |
