| dc.description.abstract | Bu tez çalışmasında; ilköğretimde öğrencilerin okul yönetimine katılımı ve yönetime katılımın öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı Türk Eğitim Sistemi'nin güçlenmesine katkıda bulunmaktır. Araştırmanın teorik kısmında kaynak taraması yapılmış, alan çalışması kısmında da anketten faydalanılmıştır.İlköğretimin amaçları arasında öğrencilere bireysel ve toplumsal sorunları tanıma ve bu sorunlara çözüm yolları arama alışkanlığı kazandırmak da yer almaktadır. Bu amacın gerçekleştirilmesinde öğrencilerin okul yönetimine katılımı önemlidir. Fakat, günümüzde ilköğretim okullarında öğrencilerin yönetime katılımı istenen düzeyde değildir. Bundan dolayı ilköğretimde öğrencilerin yönetime katılım düzeylerinin belirlenmesi, yönetime istenilen nitelikte katılamamasına sebep olan faktörlerin araştırılması ve çözüm önerileri getirilmesi gereğini doğurmaktadır. Mevzuat olarak yeni programla birlikte öğrencilerin yönetime katılımı konusunda, okul meclisleri, öğrenci kulüpleri vb. çalışmalarla ilgili gerekli adımlar atılmıştır. Uygulamada görülen aksaklıkların nedenlerinden biri yönetici ve öğretmenlerin yeterli demokratik tutum içinde olmamalarıdır.Hazırlamış olduğumuz anket çalışmasında, öğrencilerin yönetime katılımının (okul meclisleri, kulüp çalışmaları vb.) istenilen nitelikte olup olmadığı ve yönetime katılımın öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin ilköğretimde yönetime istenilen düzeyde katılamadıkları görülmüştür. Yönetime katılımın ise öğrencilerin başarıları, okula bağlılıkları ve özgüvenleri üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırma sonuçları eğitimcilere ve yöneticilere öğrencilerin yönetime katılımlarının istenilen düzeye nasıl çıkarılacağı konusunda rehber olacaktır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, participation of primary school students in management and effects of this participation over the students is studied. The aim of this study is to make a contribution to Turkish Education System. In the theoretical part of this study, a literature survey has been conducted. As being the part of field work, a survey has been conducted, and its results has been assessed in the remaining part.The major purposes of Primary School Education are to make students be acquainted with social problems and to find solutions to these problems. To achieve tis purpose, the role of students in the management is important. However, presently, participation of students in management is not a sufficient level. Therefore, as a first step it is necessary to identify the level of participation in school management and then causes of this insufficient participation. One of the reasons of failure in application is the lack of democratic attitudes of teachers and managers.In the survey, conducted for this thesis, the level of participation of students (school assemblies, club works, being class captain, committees, etc.) has been analzed effects of this participation over the students. At the end of the research, it was found that the parcipation of the students was not enough. However their participation positively influenced their success in school, their attachment to school and their self-confidence. This research aims to be a guide for managers and educators in comprehension of how participation of students could be achieved at a satisfying level. | |
