Özet
Bu araştırma resmi liselerdeki son sınıf öğrencilerinin felsefe dersine yönelik tutumlarını incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin felsefe dersine yönelik tutumları demografik, sosyo-ekonomik özelliklerine göre incelenmiştir. Araştırma tanımlayıcı araştırma modeli ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin felsefe dersine yönelik tutumlarının çeşitli özelliklerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini saptamak amacıyla iki kategorili değişkenlerde z testi; ikiden fazla kategoriye sahip değişkenlerde ise tek yönlü ANOVA analizi kullanılmıştır. ANOVA analizinde farklılığın hangi kategoriler arasında ortaya çıktığını belirlemek amacıyla post hoc testlerden Tukey HSD testinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma bölgesini İstanbul ili Büyükçekmece ilçesindeki 8 resmi lisedeki öğrenciler oluşturmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin felsefe dersine karşı olumluya yakın düzeyde kararsız bir tutuma sahip oldukları görülmektedir. Kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre felsefe dersine yönelik tutumlarının daha olumludur. Şiir, sanat ve psikoloji kitabı okuyan öğrencilerin okumayanlara göre felsefe dersine yönelik tutumlarının daha olumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Eğlence programları ve yerli dizi izlemeyen öğrencilerin bu tür yayınları izleyenlere göre felsefe dersine karşı tutumlarının daha olumlu olduğu görülmektedir. Her gün kitap okuyan öğrencilerin daha az kitap okuyan öğrencilere göre felsefe dersine yönelik tutumlarının daha olumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The research has been conducted to study attitudes of the last grade students in the public high schools towards philosophy lesson. The attitudes, towards philosophy lesson, of those students who has attended to the survey have been studied according to students? socio-economical and demographical features. Research has been conducted by means of definitive research model. Z-test for variants with two categories, but one-way ANOVA for variants with more than two categories has been applied in order to determine whether the attitudes of the students showed differences on the basis of multiple features of the students. Tukey HSD, a post hoc test, has been applied to determine among which categories the differences seen in ANOVA analysis have been occurred. Research space was consisted of students from 8 public high schools in Büyükçekmece district of Istanbul city. As a consequence of this research, students as subjects of the research are seen to be in an irresolute attitude space very close to positive attitude space towards philosophy lesson. That female students were more positive than male students about philosophy lesson has been detected. It has a observed that students who read poetry, art and psychology books were more positive towards philosophy lesson than ones who did not so. It has also revealed the fact that students who did not watch serials and entertainment programs on TV were more positive than those who did so. That students who read books regularly on daily basis were more positive towards philosophy lesson than those who did infrequently read books has been figured out by the consequences of the research..
