dc.description.abstractRetrofit analysis becomes popular after occurred earthquakes in Turkey. One if the common analysis methodology is Pushover analysis which is very useful and easy analysis type for engineers in industry. This analysis methodology is used to determine the structural capacity and nonlinear structural behavior. Since the procedure is stated in the new Turkish Design Code 2007, it becomes very crucial and inalienable for engineers in Turkey. Some structural design programs invoke the new nonlinear analysis tool for pushover analysis according to new Turkish Design Code 2007. However, this methodology gives inaccurate results in case of misusage and comments on structural behavior particularly, if the structure has insufficient concrete strength. In the present study, this issue is investigated for the structures with insufficient concrete strength. In the analysis part, two sample structures are selected for the research and the investigation. The results are given in the graphs for the evaluation.en_US
