| dc.description.abstract | Bu tez çalışmasında küresel iklim değişikliği rejiminin oluşması ve hegemonluk kavramı arasındaki ilişki ele alınmaktadır. Küresel iklim değişikliği rejiminin kurulması ve devam ettirilmesi, günümüzün en büyük sorunlarından biri olan iklim değişikliğinin yerküremize, dolayısıyla da insan hayatına etkilerini en aza indirmek adına hayati önem taşımaktadır. Kapsamlı, adil ve etkin bir küresel rejimin önündeki temel engel ise hegemonik bir aktörün eksikliğidir. Bu hipotez iklim değişikliği görüşmeleri, hegemonik teoriler ve bunlar arasındaki ilişki incelenerek açıklanmaya çalışılmaktadır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, the relationship between the international climate change regime and the concept of hegemony has been examined. The chief obstacle to establish and maintain a comprehensive, fair and effective regime which is essential to reduce the effects of climate change on the earth and thereby on the humanity, is lack of a hegemonic actor. In this thesis, this hypothesis is tested by studying the climate change negotiations, the theories of hegemony and the relationship between the two. | |
