dc.description.abstractDil, kültür tarafından şekillendirilen canlı bir organizmadır. Toplumun tarihini ve kültürünü oluşturan yaşanmışlıklar dili belirli ideolojik kalıplara sokmuş ve bu da dildeki anlamları göreceli hale getirmiş ve müphemliğe yol açmıştır. Belirli ideolojilerden etkilenmesine rağmen, dil insanların duygularını ifade etmek için önemli bir araç haline gelmiş ve edebiyat dünyasında yazarlar arasında ayırt edici bir özellik haline gelmiştir. Edebiyatın en büyük temalarından biri olan iyi ve kötü kavramı, her dönemde bir eserin konusu olmuş ve farklı tarzlarda ifade edilmiştir. Kabul edilen ideolojiye bağlı olarak gelişen dilin kullanımı, bu eserlerdeki karakterleri göreceli olarak iyi veya kötü olarak da ifade etmiştir. Bu tez, Todd Phillips'in Joker filmindeki "Joker" ve Flannery O'Connor'ın "A Good Man Is Hard to Find" adlı kısa öyküsündeki "The Misfit" karakterleri aracılığıyla kötü olarak adlandırılan karakterlerin göreceliliğini göstermek amacıyla, aile, toplum ve kültürün kötülük kavramı üzerindeki etkisini ve bu etkinin kahramanlık algısındaki değişikliği, yapı söküm yöntemini kullanarak tartışmayı amaçlamaktadır.
dc.description.abstractLanguage is a living organism that is shaped by culture. The experiences that constitute the history and culture of the society have put the language into certain ideological molds, which made the meanings in the language relative and ambiguous. Despite being influenced by certain ideologies, language has become an important tool for people to express their feelings and has become a distinguishing feature among writers in the world of literature. The concept of good and evil, one of the significant themes of literature, has been the subject of a work in every period and has been expressed in different styles. The use of language, which has been developed based on the adopted ideology, also expressed the characters in these works as relatively good or evil. This thesis aims to discuss the influence of family, society and culture on the concept of evil and the changing perception of heroism due to this influence, through the instrumentality of the character Joker of the same name in Todd Phillips' movie Joker and the character The Misfit in Flannery O'Connor's short story "A Good Man Is Hard to Find", in order to show the relativity of evil characters, by using the method of deconstruction.
