dc.description.abstractBireyin gelişiminde eğitimin yeri tartışılamaz. Eğitimin kritik dönemlerinde yapılmış olan bu tercihler kişinin yaşam kalitesini etkilemektedir. Bireyin eğitim kurumunu, mesleğini seçme özgürlüğü her zaman için bulunmaktadır. Ancak bu tercihlerin doğru şekilde yapılabilmesi için kişinin neyi niçin istediğini, ne gibi ilgi ve yeteneklere sahip olduğunu, bedensel, zihinsel ve ekonomik olanaklar yönünden gerçekçi bir ön görüye sahip olması, mevcut seçeneklerini bu kriterleri göz önüne alarak değerlendirmesi ve meslek\alan seçimi ile ilgili kararını vermesi gerekir.Görev yaptığım ortaöğretim kurumunda gözlemlediğim kadarıyla öğrencilerin ilgilerinin seçmiş oldukları alanlar ile örtüşmesi sonucunda eğitim kalitesinin arttığı ya da tam tersi durumda öğrencinin çeşitli nedenlerle ilgileri dışında bir alana dolayısı ile mesleğe yönelmenin getirmiş olduğu kişisel kabullenmemeyi, okulda disiplin problemlerinin oluşmasını, yaptığı işten hoşnutsuzluğun olumsuz geri bildirimlerinin eğitim sürecini olumsuz etkilediğini tespit etmiş durumdayım.Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaöğretim kurumlarındaki öğrencilerin ilgilerinin farkına varması ve onları alan seçiminde yönlendirme konusunda ne derece başarılı rehberlik çalışması yapıldığının tespit etmesidir.
dc.description.abstractThe importance of education on the development of an individual absolutely cannot be argued. The choices made in critical education periods affect the individual life?s quality. However, in order to make right choices; the person has to know what he/she wants, why he/she wants it, like what interest and talents he/ she has. He/ she has to have realistic foresight on the aspect of physical, mental and economical possibilities, evaluate his/her existent choices considering this criteria and made decision about his/ her profession choice.As far as I have observed in the school I?m working, I have determined that the quality of education increases when the students? interests match their choices on their profession or on the contrary, the results which occur when the students make choices about the career branches different from their interests create individual unacceptance, discipline problems at school and the negative feedback of being discontented on the work influences their education process in negative way.The aim of this work is making the students of middle school institutions aware of their interests and determing that how successful consultant studies on the subject of orientating the students to choose their branch.
