dc.description.abstract''Türk Dizilerinde Kadın İmgesi; Sen Anlat Karadeniz Örneği'' başlıklı tez çalışması, günümüz Türkiye'sinde 'kadına şiddet' kavramının diğer kitle iletişim araçlarına göre televizyon aracılığıyla sunulmaktadır. Güncel bir dizi üzerinden yansıtılan ve bu yansıtılan cinsiyet ayrımcılığının incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Sen Anlat Karadeniz dizisi incelemenin örneği olarak seçilmiştir. Dizinin temel olarak tercih edilmesindeki en önemli sebep, dizinin kadına şiddet olgusunun karakterler üzerinden ve şiddet kavramının da belirli aşamalarla (şiddet öncesi, şiddet süreci ve şiddet sonrası) detaylı bir şekilde incelenerek aktarmaya çalışmaktır. Çalışmada, Gerbner'in Kültürel Göstergeler ve Ekme Kuramı' na bağlı kalınarak ve feminist yaklaşımla dizide yer alan tüm bölümler karakterler vasıtasıyla içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Sen Anlat Karadeniz dizisindeki temsilin kadına şiddet ve eril söylem vb. rollerle geleneksel basmakalıp temsiliyetler sunularak ataerkil olgusunu pekiştiren iletilere yer verildiğine de saptanmıştır.
dc.description.abstractThe thesis with title " Woman's Image in Turkish TV Series; Sen Anlat Karadeniz (Tell Me About The Black Sea) Example" aims at examining the 'violence against women' in contemporary Turkey presented through television, comparing to other mass media and the examination of this gender discrimination reflected on an actual TV series. For this purpose the Sen Anlat Karadeniz (Tell Me About The Black Sea) TV series has been chosen as an example of the study. The most important reason for choosing the series as example is the fact that it tries to transmit the phenomenon of violence against women through the characters and the concept of violence in specific phases (pre-violence, violence phase and post-violence). In this study, the content analysis was conducted by using the Gerbner's Cultural Indicators and Cultivation Theory and all the episodes of the series were analyzed through their characters, analyzed with a feminist approach. It has also been revealed that reality represented in the Sen Anlat Karadeniz (Tell Me About The Black Sea) TV series includes messages that reinforce the patriarchal phenomenon by presenting traditional stereotypical representations through violence to women, masculine discourse and similar roles.
