| dc.description.abstract | Bu tez, 1970'lerin tarihsel arka planında Füruzan'ın öykü ve romanlarındaki yoksulluk temsilini sosyolojik olarak tartışmaktadır. Çalışmada, Füruzan'ın eserleri birbirleriyle belirli tarihsel süreçler ve sosyoloji kavramları dikkate alınarak ilişkilendirilmiştir. Füruzan'ın kurmaca metinleri, yazarın edebi sürecini besleyen unsurlar ve yazarın kendi yaşam serüveninden edebiyatına yansıyanlarla birlikte yorumlanmıştır. Füruzan'ın öykü ve romanlarında kadın yaşamına dair anlatımlar takip edilmiştir. Eserlerdeki kadınların birbirlerine değen yaşamları tahlil edilmiştir. Kadınların ev içerisinde ve kamusal alanda nasıl temsil edildikleri incelenmiştir. Metinlerde, karakterlere yazılan toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri sorgulanmıştır. Eşitsizlik koşullarının yansıması olan yoksulluğun Füruzan'ın öykü ve romanlarında çeşitli boyutlarıyla katmanlı olarak yer aldığı ortaya konmuştur. Füruzan'ın yoksul karakterleri derinlikli birer toplumsal özne olarak kurguladığı görülmüştür. Çalışmanın teorik çerçevesini 1970'lerin sanat ve edebiyat ortamının genel hatlarıyla ele alınması ve dönemin kadın yazarlarının eğilimlerinin açıklanması oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca, Füruzan'ın kendi anlatımıyla yaşam akışı da takip edilmiştir. Yazarın öz yaşam öyküsü, eserlerini okumak için önemli bir başvuru kaynağı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuçta, Füruzan'ın öykü ve romanlarında belli başlı temaların ön plana çıktığı görülmüştür. Bunlar, göçmenlik, okula- okumaya yüklenen anlamlar ve kadınlık deneyimleridir. Yazar bu üç temayı yoksullukla kuşatarak anlatmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis discusses the representation of poverty in Füruzan's stories and novels from a sociological perspective by taking into consideration the historical background of the 1970s. In this study, Füruzan's works have been associated with each other by considering certain historical processes and sociological concepts. Füruzan's fictional texts are interpreted together with the elements that feed the author's literary process and reflections on the author's own life adventure in her literature. In Füruzan's stories and novels, narratives about women's life have been traced. The interrelated lives of women in the works have been analyzed. How women are represented in the private sphere and in the public sphere has been examined. In the texts, gender roles written on the characters have been questioned. It has been discussed that poverty, which reflects inequal conditions, is layered in Füruzan's stories and novels with its various dimensions. It has been seen that Füruzan construct the poor characters as social subjects by bone-deeply. The theoretical framework of the study consists of the general outline of the art and literature environment of the 1970's and the explanation of the tendencies of the women authors of the period. In addition, Füruzan's own life flow has been followed in her own words. The author's own life story has been considered as an important reference source for reading her works. As a result, it has been discussed in this thesis that certain themes come to the fore in Füruzan's stories and novels. These are the meanings attributed to education, migration, and women's experiences. Füruzan writes on these three themes by encompassing them with poverty. | |
