Özet
Kentsel dönüşüm yapı stoğunun iyileştirilmesi, kentsel dokunun yaşatılması, sosyo-kültürel açıdan önemi, depreme dayanıklı yapıların yapılması, yaşanabilir bir toplum hedeflemesi bakımından özellikle ülkemiz açısından son derece önemlidir. Kentsel dönüşümün uygulamada yaşanan sorunların çözümü, refah seviyesi yüksek ve yaşanabilir, sürdürülebilir bir kent ölçeğinde olması adına toplumun bütün kesimi sürece dahil olmasıyla mümkündür. Sürdürülebilir kentsel dönüşüm sosyal, çevresel ve ekonomik faktörleri göz önünde bulundurarak sağlanabilir. Ayrıca sürdürülebilir kentsel dönüşüm olması bakımından akademik çalışmalar, sempozyumlar, paneller yapılarak toplum bilinci sağlanmalı ve süreç bu şekilde gündemde tutularak desteklenmelidir. Son yıllarda teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının fizibilitesinin değerlendirilip verimli ve etkin bir şekilde kullanılması kentsel dönüşümün, sürdürülebilirliğin tamamlayıcısı olarak değerlendirilebilir. Bundan dolayı halkın sürekli kullandığı meydan gibi mekanlarda yapılan dönüşümün sürdürülebilir, modern, yenilikçi anlayışlarla ve tarihi değerleri koruyarak olması vazgeçilmezdir. Üsküdar Meydan örneğimizin aydınlatma direklerinde güneş panelleri kullanılarak enerji üretip aydınlatmada kullanılması durumunda; ekonomik kazanç sağlanması, güneşten faydalanarak enerji üretme, ülkemizin sınırlı olan enerji kaynakların israfının önlenmesi, yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları kullanılarak sürdürülebilirlik sağlanmış olacaktır.
It is higly important for our country regarding the objectives for having a livable society, that to heal the stock of urban regeneration contructions, to let the urban pattern be alive, to be aware of the socio-culturel importance, to constract durable contructions against earthquakes. Resolving the problems of the process of the urban regeneration is only possible by the involvement of the every section of the society. Sustainable urban regeneration is possible by considering enviromental, social and aconomic factors. Also, academic studies, symposiums, panels has got to be done and this process needs to be on agenda for making the sustainasble urban regeneration possible. The active usage of refreshable energy sources' feasability in the last years, can be counted as the subsidary of the sustainability of the urban regeneration. Therefore, It is irrevocable that in the public areas, the regeneration has to be done by covering the historical values with a modern, innovator mentality. In the example of Üsküdar Square, producing energy by the sun panels for the lighting poles will make economical savings and avoid wasting our country's energy sources so that there will be created a sustainability.
