Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında; ebeveynin sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel düzeyinin ilköğretim sekizinci sınıfta okuyan çocuklarının okul başarısıyla olan ilişkileri ele alınmaktadır.Araştırmanın amacı, öğrencilerin okul derslerinde gösterdikleri performansta, ailelerinin sosyo ekonomik ve kültürel düzeylerinin ne denli etkili olduğunu irdelemek, gözlemlemek ve sonuç olarak etkisini belirlemektir. Aynı zamanda öğrencilerin Ortaöğretim Kurumları Sınavı'nda (OKS) aldıkları puanların ortalaması da kaynak teşkil etmesi bakımından çalışmada yer verilmiştir.Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde eğitimin tanımı yapılmış ve amacı, önemi, türleri ve bireyin eğitiminde ailenin rolüne deyinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde başarı ve okul başarısı tanımlanmış, okul başarısını etkileyen faktörler açıklanmıştır. Üçüncü bölüm ise uygulama bölümüdür.Veri incelemesinde anket yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Ekonomik ve kültürel düzeyi birbirinden farklı iki ilçede (Bağcılar ve Bakırköy) ilköğretim sekizinci sınıfta okuyan öğrencilere uygulanmış ve veriler karşılaştırılmıştır.
Relatives was indicated in this thesis, which dependent on parents have social economic and cultural levels, It effects success of student in the school who studies in primary education eight class.Performance of students dependent on families have social economic and cultural level in school subjects. Aim of search, this situation is scrutinizing, abserving and finally his effects is determining. In same time marks average is given place in search for source organizing whichstudents took from secondary education institutions examination. (OKS)In the first part of search, education was described and aim, importance, kinds was determined and it was touched on role of family in education of individual. In the second part success and school success was described. Effective causes was explained which effects school success. The third part was practising part.Poll method was practised in data scrutinizing. Economic and cultural level from each other different in two counties ( Bağcılar and Bakırköy ) that was practised to primary education eight class students and datas was compared.
