Öğe Creating social value through social entrepreneurship(IGI Global, 2020) Findikli M.A.; Erdur D.A.With today's current problems, including forced migrations, inadequate education and healthcare systems, environmental threats, economic crises, poverty, etc., it has become evident that systemic social change is needed. Unfortunately, creating, maintaining, and fostering sustainable social value is not easy. In this respect, social entrepreneurs can act as change agents with their social missions. Yet, the role of social entrepreneurship in creating sustainable social value is still in an embryonic state. © 2021 by IGI Global. Additionally, the increasing prevalence of remote work models (especially post-COVID-19) and the growth of e-businesses have led to the emergence of new leadership models such as digital leadership (e-leadership). Digital leadership is generally conceptualized as a leadership style that effectively and efficiently utilizes digital communication channels to create value for all stakeholders. Therefore, digital leaders play a key role in enabling organizations to continue their existence by implementing the necessary digital transformation at both the organizational and human resources levels. The main objective of this research is to contribute to the literature by analyzing the main themes, prominent concepts, and findings of research related to digital leadership and to identify research gaps. The research was conducted through a semi-systematic review of the literature using the Scopus database. As a result of the research, twenty-two studies were identified and classified into five main themes: model proposals, changing roles, competence and skills, outputs, and communication channels. Based on these findings, the need for digital leaders who can effectively harmonize the digital transformation process with both technical and human resources was determined. It was revealed that both businesses and digital leaders tend to focus more on the technological aspects of digital transformation, highlighting the need to strengthen of strengthening the alignment processes with human resources, and the need for a more comprehensive digital leadership theory, model, and quantitative research. © 2023 Nova Science Publishers, Inc. Research data's obtained from 234 participants who work in technocities were tested with structural equation model. Resource dependency dimensions, which are independent variables, were evaluated in two sub-dimensions; the importance of the resource (RIMP) and the availability of alternatives (AA). Uncertainty scale was evaluated in three sub-dimensions; ability to be a resource (AbiR), resource scarcity (RS) and resource interconnectedness (RINT). Mediating variables were planned as solidarity (SOL) and intellectual capital-human capital (H-C), social capital (S-C) and organizational capital (O-C)-The results of the analysis emphasized the importance of solidarity and intellectual capital in terms of dependency and uncertainty. In analyzing the mediation effects, three different models were tested and were determined to be parallel. The SOL and O-C dependents found to have a direct effect on the innovation performance (INP). According to Model 1; it can be stated that the RIMP has a direct and positive effect on INP, O-C and SOL. In the model 2; AA has a direct and positive effect on INP, O-C and SOL. In Model 3, the RINT has a direct effect on the INP, O-C and SOL. Based on AIC and R2 values calculated for comparison the SOL and O-C, the second model found to be best model among the others. © 2019 The Authors. Do social enterprises/entrepreneurs perform studies especially for groups experiencing social exclusion during the COVID-19 era? The study based on qualitative research reveals that by producing innovative, fast, and effective solutions social initiatives have won the approval of society.
