Öğe STRATEGIC FASHION INDUSTRY AND CITY ECONOMY: THE ROLE OF DESIGN ON FINANCIAL DYNAMICS(Jomard Publishing, 2024) Zehir, Cemal; Özyeşil, Mustafa; Aktürk, Esin Benhür; Mamedov, ZahidThis study developed three models based on time series analysis to evaluate the effects of the fashion industry on city economies. In the first model, the relationship between fashion industry size and city economic indicators was examined. The second and third models evaluated the effects of fashion events, investments and city infrastructure on economic growth. Data were collected between 2000 and 2023 and analyzed with STATA 17 software. Unit root tests and multiple linear dependency tests were performed for the variables used in the study and then autocorrelation and VIF tests were performed for appropriate model selection. Ridge Regression Model was used due to the multicollinearity problem in the first model. In the second and third models, Prais-Winston AR Model predictions were obtained. The findings reveal that the fashion industry has significant impacts on tourism revenue, gross national product and retail sales. © 2024, Jomard Publishing. By assessing the impact of water-energy-food depletion due to climate change and environmental factors such as the climate crisis, food shortages, and global pandemics, it seeks to provide new understandings and solutions for managing water resources, energy systems, and food shortages, which are intricate global problems. The paper presents a brief review and data providing a systematic analysis of Water-Energy-Food (WEF) and Climate Change Nexus specifically focused on Turkey. It offers new solutions and management opportunities by synthesizing perspectives from research aimed at addressing environmental challenges. As a result, the study has presented the new solutions and management opportunities with getting new perspectives from the researches to have the aim of combatting with the environmental problems. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.Öğe The relationship between digital financial literacy and financial behaviors of pharmacy faculty students: A comprehensive evaluation through structural equation model(Istanbul Medipol University, 2025) Özyeşil, Mustafa; Tembelo, HavaneThis study aims to assess the relationship between financial literacy levels and digital financial skills among pharmacy faculty students.
