dc.description.abstractConsidering that individuals communicate through words, the place of language in human life is important in terms of agreement and communication. The structure that provides agreement is formed by arranging the words in a certain order according to its own rule in each language. This order does not change in general, but the forms of expression in written and oral expression differ according to the time and place of use of the language, and the community that uses the language. One of the languages classified in various types according to the purpose of use is the language of the press. Press language, which is a type of written expression, has the purpose of conveying the events, situations or planned activities, innovations and differences to the public as they are and informing them. However, elements such as the style, expression style, word choice, topic selection, sentence construction style and the quality of the news used while fulfilling this purpose are important for the reader to understand the subject correctly. The aim of the prepared study is to reveal the news language of Takvîm-i Vekâyî, which is the first Turkish newspaper in our press history and serves as a communication tool between the administration and the public.
dc.description.abstractİnsanların birbirleriyle kelimeler vasıtasıyla iletişim kurduğu düşünüldüğünde, dilin, anlaşma ve haberleşme bakımından insan hayatındaki yeri mühimdir. Anlaşmayı sağlayan yapı, kelimelerin belli bir düzen içerisinde her dilin kendi kâidesine göre sıralanmasıyla meydana gelmektedir. Bu sıralama umumiyetle değişmez ancak yazılı ve sözlü anlatımda ifade biçimleri dilin kullanım yerine, zamanına, dili kullanan topluluğa göre farklılık arz etmektedir. Kullanım maksadına göre çeşitli türlerde tasnif edilen dillerden biri de basın dili yani gazete lisanıdır. Yazılı bir ifade çeşidi olan gazete lisanı, meydana gelen hadiseleri, durumları veya yapılması planlanan faaliyetleri, yenilikleri, havâdisleri halka olduğu gibi aktarma ve malûmat verme maksadını taşımaktadır. Ancak bu maksadı yerine getirirken kullandığı üslûp, ifade tarzı, kelime seçimi, konu seçimi, cümle kurma biçimi, haberin niteliği gibi unsurlar okurun konuyu doğru biçimde anlayabilmesi bakımından önemlidir. Hazırlanan çalışmanın maksadı, matbuat tarihimizin ilk Türkçe gazetesi olan ve yönetimle halk arasında bir iletişim vasıtası vazifesi gören Takvîm-i Vekâyî’nin ilk sayısının haber dilini ve az da olsa yapısal farklılıklarını ortaya koymaktır.
