dc.description.abstractBu araştırma, yapay zekâ teknolojilerinin eğitim ve grafik tasarım alanlarındaki etkilerini ve Türkiye'deki ön lisans düzeyinde grafik tasarım programlarının müfredatlarına entegrasyon seviyesini analiz etmektedir. Ayrıca, yapay zekâ teknolojilerinin grafik tasarım eğitimine entegrasyon düzeyini belirlemeyi, bu teknolojinin etkili kullanımına yönelik farkındalık oluşturmayı ve mevcut eksiklikleri nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden literatür taraması aracılığıyla tespit ederek çözüm önerileri sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Yapay zekâ, üretkenliği artıran ve yaratıcı süreçlere destek olan önemli bir araç olarak öne çıkarken, etik kullanım ve farkındalık gerekliliği özellikle vurgulanmıştır. Araştırmada, 2024-2025 eğitim-öğretim yılı itibarıyla ön lisans düzeyindeki grafik tasarım programlarının müfredatları incelenmiş ve yalnızca 16 programda yapay zekâ odaklı derslerin bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapay zekânın bilinçli kullanan tasarımcıları yaratıcı süreçlere daha fazla odaklanmaya yönlendirdiği; ancak eğitim kurumlarının bu teknolojiyi müfredatlarına dahil etmekte yavaş kaldığı belirtilmektedir. Ek olarak, yapay zekânın dijitalleşmeyi hızlandırarak iş yapış biçimlerini ve istihdam modellerini dönüştürdüğü vurgulanmaktadır. Türkiye’de bazı üniversitelerin yapay zekâ ve veri mühendisliği konularında lisans ve lisansüstü programlar sunmasına karşın, grafik tasarım eğitimi veren kurumların bu alanlara uyum hızının yetersiz olduğu değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma, yapay zekânın etkin ve bilinçli kullanımı konusunda farkındalık yaratmanın önemine dikkat çekmekte ve bu teknolojinin eğitim sisteminde daha yaygın bir şekilde benimsenmesi gerektiğini önermektedir.
dc.description.abstractThis research analyzes the effects of artificial intelligence technologies on education and graphic design and the level of integration into the curricula of associate degree graphic design programs in Turkey. It also aims to determine the level of integration of artificial intelligence technologies into graphic design education, to raise awareness about the effective use of this technology, and to identify existing deficiencies through a literature review using qualitative research methods and to offer solution suggestions. While artificial intelligence stands out as an important tool that increases productivity and supports creative processes, the need for ethical use and awareness is particularly emphasized. In the research, the curricula of associate degree graphic design programs were examined as of the 2024-2025 academic year and it was determined that only 16 programs had courses focused on artificial intelligence. It is stated that artificial intelligence directs designers who use it consciously to focus more on creative processes; however, educational institutions are slow to include this technology in their curricula. It is also emphasized that artificial intelligence accelerates digitalization and transforms business practices and employment models. Although some universities in Turkey offer undergraduate and graduate programs in artificial intelligence and data engineering, it has been evaluated that the speed of adaptation of institutions providing graphic design education to these fields is insufficient. The research draws attention to the importance of creating awareness about the effective and conscious use of artificial intelligence and suggests that this technology should be adopted more widely in the education system.
