dc.description.abstract | Human being; having the memory abilty, the capacity to percieve the present and the experience, has the capability to develop an understanding which determines the line of behavior. Every society has a health concept which reflects its history, cultural values, economic and which determines the health service systems. The hospital designes have shown a constant change due to the transition to settled life, the developments in science, technology and architecture, the transformation pressure of other economic and social areas and the developing health and illness concept. The architectures have constantly renewed their designs as a result of the suggestions of the doctors who constantly spent their times in the hospital buildings, the discovery of the micro organisms and the researches regarding the effects of the hospital environment on the patients. The studies on determination of the criterion for the ideal hospital area and development of the methodology for selection of the area have initiated. It is understood that the hospitals affect the recevery with the attitudes of their workers, business processes, architectural designs and environmental factors. In this paper, the new approaches and concepts which affect the functions and designs of hospitals have been examined and the effects of those to the hospital functions, landcapes, quality criterion and care functions have been analyzed. Therfore, the necesarry specifications in order for the hospitals to be buildings contributing to the recovery with is physicial structure and functions have been examined. © SGEM2010 All Rights Reserved by the International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference SGEM Published by STEF92 Technology Ltd. | en_US |
