dc.description.abstractÇalışma bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin medya alanında yarattığı dönüşüm bağlamında, dijital mecraların yeni birer kamusal alan olarak işlev görmesini incelemektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, 1 Mayıs 2024 ile 13 Mayıs 2024 tarihleri arasında, memurlar.net sitesinde yayınlanan öğretmen atamalarına ilişkin haberlerin bu platformda nasıl temsil edildiğini analiz etmektir. İçerik analizi yöntemi kullanılan araştırmada, haberlerin yayın politikası, sayısı, oluşturulma biçimi, kullanılan kaynaklar ve atanamayan öğretmenlerin sorunlarının temsili gibi faktörler incelenmiştir. Seçilen tarih aralığı, atama başvurularının başladığı ve sonuçların açıklandığı dönemi kapsamaktadır. Araştırma, kullanıcıların içerik üreticisi rolüyle dijital mecralarda kendilerini ifade etme potansiyellerini ve bu ifadelerin haber sitelerinde nasıl yankı bulduğunu değerlendirmektedir. Araştırmanın bulguları, aynı zamanda dijital habercilik edimini de ifa eden memurlar.net sitesinin kamusal alan işlevini yerine getirdiğini ortaya koymaktadır.
dc.description.abstractThis study examines the function of digital platforms as new public spheres, exploring how they operate within the context of the media transformation brought about by information and communication technologies. The study's aim is to analyze how news related to teacher appointments is represented on the memurlar.net website, specifically for the period between May 1 and May 13, 2024. Designed with a quantitative content analysis method, the research investigates factors such as the news outlet's publication policy, the number of news items, their format, the sources used, and the representation of the problems faced by unappointed teachers. The selected timeframe is significant because it covers a critical period encompassing the beginning of application submissions and the announcement of official results. The findings of the study reveal that the memurlar.net website, by performing the act of digital journalism, fulfills a public sphere function, creating a space for users in their role as content creators to express themselves. This research evaluates the role of digital journalism in social representation and the contribution of online platforms to the formation of public discourse.
