In the study, the aim is to evaluate the relationship between Covid-19 preparedness organizational trust and job satisfaction, which are key interventions in health workforce policy and management during the Covid-19 pandemic as recommended by WHO and ILO. Additionally, the study aims to provide resources for the development of more efficient and effective intervention methods for future pandemics. It is the first study to investigate the relationship between the level of job satisfaction among health-care workers and the level of organizational trust in Covid-19 readiness. The research is a descriptive-cross-sectional study. Questionnaires were administered to 400 healthcare workers who were involved in various tasks during the Covid-19 pandemic and agreed to participate in the study. The data collection form included questions related to sociodemographic characteristics and occupation, as well as the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale and the Covid-19 Readiness Organi-zational Trust Scale. The internal consistency of the scales was examined by calculating correlation coefficients and Cronbach’s alpha values. Principal Components Analysis was performed for factor analysis. The adequacy of the sample size for the factor was evaluated using the KMO test and the suitability of the scale items for factor analysis was assessed using Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity. Analyses were conducted to determine the sub-dimensions and items of the scales. It has been observed that job satisfaction is positive with confidence in Covid-19 preparation, job satisfaction of those who trust the institution and employees increases positively, and organizational trust of those who are satisfied with the quality of the job and the working environment are positively affected. © 2024, Ebru Bagci.
