dc.description.abstractObjective: Privacy is one of the subtitles of patient rights and is a concept that all professional groups must take into account. In this context, the aim of the study is to evaluate the patient privacy attitudes of the Health Services Vocational School students studying at a Foundation University in Istanbul, according to socio-demographic variables, regarding privacy, which has an important place in the quality of health services and patient satisfaction.Materials and Methods: The questionnaire form used in the study consists of two parts. There are demographic questions in the first part of the questionnaire scale, while the second part of patients' rights in place. The study was conducted with 112 university students by filling out an online questionnaire. Descriptive statistical methods were used for the analysis of the data obtained, and Mann Withney U and Kruskal Wallis tests were performed to determine the difference between the variables.Results and Conclusion: As a result of the study, it is seen that the averages that the students obtained from the patient privacy scale are quite high. According to the gender variable, it was found that there is a difference between the patient privacy attitudes of women and men. In addition, it is thought that awareness in students can be increased by addressing more privacy issues in health education-related issues and reinforcing information with real case studies in internships or practices.
dc.description.abstractAmaç: Mahremiyet, hasta haklarının alt başlıklarından birini oluşturmaktadır ve bütün meslek gruplarının dikkate almak zorunda olduğu bir kavramdır. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın amacı, sağlık hizmetlerinin kalitesi ve hasta memnuniyetinde önemli yeri olan mahremiyet konusunda, İstanbul’da bulunan bir Vakıf Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin hasta mahremiyet tutumlarının sosyo demografik değişkenlere göre değerlendirilmesidir.Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma kapsamında kullanılan anket formu iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Anketin ilk bölümünde demografik sorular yer alırken ikinci bölümde hasta hakları ölçeği bulunmaktadır. Çalışma, 112 üniversite öğrencisine online anket formu doldurularak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin analizi için tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılmıştır ve değişken arasındaki farkı belirlemek için Mann Withney U ve Kruskal Wallis testleri yapılmıştır.Bulgular ve Sonuç: Çalışma sonucunda öğrencilerin hasta mahremiyeti ölçeğinden elde ettikleri ortalamaların oldukça yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Cinsiyet değişkenine göre, kadınlar ile erkeklerin hasta mahremiyet tutumları arasında bir fark olduğu saptanmıştır.
