    EVALUATION OF EMPLOYEES REQUESTING SPECIAL POLICY IN TERMS OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

    Disadvantaged groups or special risk groups in labor markets are exposed to certain discriminatory policies both in accessing employment opportunities and in the implementation of working conditions during the working life process. At the same time, they are exposed to precarious working conditions and are employed in jobs where occupational health and safety measures are not taken. In order to bring those in this group into working life, deterrent legal regulations should be established to prevent discrimination. In the context of occupational health and safety, the employer should carry out the risk assessment by taking into account the suitability of the people in the higher risk group and special risk groups, their work and working conditions. The aim of this study is to reveal the risks and the precautions to be taken in the context of occupational health and safety of the employees in the special risk group. Evaluation of groups requiring special policy in terms of occupational health and safety was analyzed using the L-type matrix, which is a quantitative risk assessment method. The easy, simple and frequent use of the method in risk assessment methods was effective in the selection. When the employees of the special risk group were examined in terms of occupational health and safety, it was observed that the employees of this group were faced with parallel or very different dangers. In this scope, arrangements should be made taking into account the special situations of those in this risk group. Employees who require special policies should be provided with the necessary training, protective equipment and necessary tools and equipment, and periodic examinations should be made at certain times, and job suitability or job rotation should be made.

    İş sağlığı ve güvenliği alanında yalın tekniklerin kullanımı: Bir laboratuvar uygulaması

    İş sağlığı ve güvenliği, işyerinde yaşanabilecek olumsuzlukları önceden belirleyip bu olumsuzlukları gidermek amacıyla yapılan sistemli uygulamalardır. İş sağlığı ve güvenliği işgören, işyeri ve devleti önemli ölçüde etkilemektedir. İlgili yasa, yönetmelik ve mesleki kuruluşlar, kazaların ve meslek hastalıklarının önlenmesi, sağlıklı ve güvenilir iş ortamları oluşturulması için çeşitli düzenlemeler gerektirmektedir. Bu tür düzenlemeler, işçi sağlığının korunmasını sağlarken öte yandan işletmenin itibarını yükseltmektedir. Devlet ise, olumlu koşulların sağlanması durumunda, iş kazaları ve meslek hastalıklarından kaynaklanan harcamalardan tasarruf sağlamaktadır. Günümüzde, devlet tarafından, kamu ve özel sektörlerde iş sağlığı ve güvenliği uygulamasının zorunlu hale getirilmesi çalışmaları sürdürülmektedir. Bu çalışmada,güvenli bir iş ortamı yaratmak için iş sağlığı ve güvenliği süreçlerinin iyileştirilmesi amaçlanmış ve bir yalın iş güvenliği modeli oluşturularak bir kimya labaratuvarında örnek bir uygulama gerçekleştirilmiştir.
