Öğe A Hybrid Decision Model for Balancing the Technological Advancement, Human Intervention and Business Sustainability in Industry 5.0 Adoption(Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH, 2024) Sindhwani R.; Mangla S.K.; Kazancoglu Y.; Maden A.In Industry 5.0, humans and machines work together, using advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and automation to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality while also supporting sustainable practices and human values. There is a growing interest in learning about the challenges of Industry 5.0 and exploring these technologies to promote sustainability and responsible business practices. We need a hybrid decision model to strike a balance between technical progress, human values, and sustainable practices as we move toward Industry 5.0, which presents enormous challenges in the areas of technology, the environment, society and ethics, and business and economics. Through a literature analysis guided by the PRISMA technique and the Delphi method, the study highlighted challenges in the areas of technology, the environment, society and ethics, and business and economics, as well as solution measures to address them. The weightage of the challenges was determined using the Best Worst Method, and the ranking of the potential solutions was prioritized using the Elimination and Choice Expressing Reality method. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.Öğe Suitability evaluation of blockchain–Based systems using fuzzy ANP- A case study in a logistics company(Springer Verlag, 2020) Maden A.Blockchain practices apart from the finance are the current object of curiosity since blockchain is not only an information technology, but also an institutional technology with its new currency economics and distributed structures. Today, the areas such as supply chain, power and food/agriculture are promising in terms of capability of fitting the blockchain technology. Especially logistics corporations have been concentrating on developing efficient ways that provide cost advantages in integrated data, fleet management and communication issues. Given the current stage of industry evolution in Turkey, it is important to understand the suitability of the blockchain technology. Therefore, in this study, experts from a well known logistics company in Turkey contributed to the process of suitability evaluation of the blockchain-based systems. As for the analyzing method, Fuzzy Analytical Network Process (Fuzzy ANP) was used in order to determine and evaluate the interrelations between the suitability attributes. Besides, this method facilitated the prioritization of the blockchain-based alternatives. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.Öğe Understanding the Blockchain Technology Adoption from Procurement Professionals’ Perspective - An Analysis of the Technology Acceptance Model Using Intuitionistic Fuzzy Cognitive Maps(Springer, 2021) Maden A.; Alptekin E.Nowadays, the trend towards new technologies has promoted fierce competition in supply chains. Blockchain technology attracts widespread attention in supply chain processes via its potential benefits. Efficiently managed supply chain processes provide operational and organizational advantages, and procurement is one of the critical processes to gain such advantages. With its multi-participant nature, procurement process deserves particular attention in terms of its potential to be transformed by blockchain technology. When evaluating a new technology, variables affecting behavior to use technology should be analyzed carefully. In literature, additional research is needed to obtain a broader understanding of blockchain technology acceptance. This study aims to analyze procurement professionals’ adoption of the blockchain technology with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Intuitionistic Fuzzy Cognitive Maps (IFCM). The IFCM was used as it has the capacity to model the professionals’ hesitation, and it also copes with incomplete or even conflicting information. Our results indicate that the influences between variables are in line with most of the other studies. However, the findings further strengthens that the procurement professionals give Intention, Job Relevance and Output Quality more importance. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
