Öğe Examining The Effects of Dynamic Capabilities and Knowledge Acquisition on Innovation and New Product Performance(2021) Celtekligil, Kudret; Adıgüzel, ZaferIn today's world, national borders have become more flexible and permeable, with businesses realizing that their most important source of profit is their ability toconstantly present differences to their markets. And, in fact, innovations emerge as a product or a service is shaped by the knowledge and capabilities of the company as they adapt to changing environmental conditions. In other words, product variety and company capabilities develop together to adapt to the changing environment since the dynamic nature of organizations can provide an advantage in developing new products. However, information obtained from the environment may also have an effect. For this reason, if dynamic capabilities are supported with knowledge, creative activities may increase and innovation performance can be positively affected. So, in order to be successful in innovation, organizations need to be able to use knowledge as well as dynamic capabilities. This research was carried out in the automobile industry (automobile spare parts producing companies), specifically due to their dynamic structure in 2019. Questionnaires were collected from 375 engineers. Analyzes were made using the SPSS 25 program. Since the survey method was on a 5-point Likert scale, correlation and regression analysis were performed after factor and reliability analyzes were performed. The Sobel Test and Hayes Process tool were performed to analyze the effect of the mediation variable. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the dynamic capabilities and knowledge acquisition of the companies in the manufacturing sector did not sufficiently affect the product performance in an environment with high competition. This may be because competitors are more successful in competition and are preferred in terms of product performance. It will be important in terms of contributing to the literature that future studies should be conducted in technology and R&D focused companies to acquire dynamic capabilities and knowledge acquisitionÖğe INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF INNOVATION AND INTERNAL COOPERATION ON PRODUCT PERFORMANCE(Future Acad, 2019) Celtekligil, Kudret; Adiguzel, ZaferThe aim of this study is to research how organizational innovativeness and internal cooperation influence the firm Performance and new product performance. The survey was conducted with 270 employees. SPSS 25 Program was used for the analysis of the scales representing the variables used in the collected questionnaires In the analysis of the data prepared using the 5-point Likert scale, firstly; factor and reliability analysis, and then correlation and regression analyzes were performed. In addition, regression analysis and sobel test were performed for the analysis of the effect of the mediation variable. In the first part of the questionnaire which consists of two parts, the questions related to the department where the employees are, their work and training are included. In the second part of the questionnaire, there are scales representing the variables examined within the scope of the research. The Internal-to-Firm Transaction Costs variable, which evaluates the mediation effect, has a positive effect on both firm performance and new product performance. This situation shows how important the control of costs is for production companies. Firms that evaluate the control of costs for performance and new product are also successful in the competitive environment. Within the scope of the research model, the effects of environment and organizational change, which are thought to be a factor in the competitive environment, are examined on the competitive capabilities and innovation performances of firms. Within the scope of the research, questionnaires were collected from 300 white collar employees. As a result of the study, it is observed that there is an effect on the relationship between Innovation performance and Firm competitiveness in the relationship between Organizational change and variable effect. Environmental impacts and organizational change can directly and indirectly affect the competitive aspects of organizations. Moreover, how the relational norms between producers and suppliers affect the firm performance, from the viewpoint of resource dependence and transaction costs theories. The study was conducted with the data of the face-to-face and individual surveys carried out with the managers of business organizations (314 participants) employed in different sub-sectors in the manufacturing sector, between May - December 2017. The validity and reliability of the scales were studied with exploratory and confirmatory factor Analyses. The hypotheses were tested with the support of the Structural Equation Modelling technique. As a result of the study, it is observed that Resource dependency parameters have a statistically significant impact on relational norms between producer-supplier. Solidarity from producer-supplier relational norms, mutuality, and relational focus variables meaningly influence the firm performance. Moreover, asset specificity of resource dependency parameters meaningly influences the mutuality. Accordingly, Resource dependence parameters and the relational norms between producer and supplier explain 38% of the variance in firm performance.
