Öğe A COMPARISON BETWEEN DIAGNOSIS-RELATED GROUPS AND COMMUNIQUÉ ON HEALTHCARE PRACTICES IN HEALTH FINANCING: A CASE OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES(EDAM, 2019) Antep, ZehraThe gradual increase in health expenditure each year highlights the importance of cost-controlled inpatient prospective payment systems in health financing in Turkey and around the world. Being in current use in many developed countries, the Diagnosis-related Groups (DRG) model is an effective inpatient prospective payment systemused in healthcare institutions with a high case mix index. The present study aims to determine the efficacy of the DRG inpatient prospective payment system model in the funding of cardiovascular diseases, and to reveal the differences between the CHP-basedand DRG-based pricing models. Findings of the present study reveal that DRG pricing changes while CHP pricing remains constant in terms of certain parameters such as emergency or elective surgery, accompanying diseases, newborn birth weight, and length of stay in cases involving procedures and operations used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.Öğe A Study on the Tendencies of Healthcare Workers to Use Digital Hospital Systems(Seyfettin ERDOĞAN, 2024) Antep, Zehra; Öngel, VolkanIt is seen that the positive or negative characteristics and perceptual differences that individuals have lead to different attitudes and behaviors in terms of accepting new technologies. In this study, it was investigated whether the tendencies of employees to new technologies and their technology acceptance attitudes regarding the use of HIMSS-EMRAM digital hospital systems differ according to their demographic characteristics in a health institution that has entered the digitalization process. According to the data obtained from the research, in the analysis of demographic variables and technology readiness index of healthcare workers, the optimism variable varies according to title and age, the innovation variable varies according to gender and age, and the discomfort and insecurity variables do not differ according to demographic variables. According to the results of the comparison of demographic variables and technology acceptance model of healthcare professionals, it was determined that the perceived benefit variable differs according to title and age, while the perceived ease of use variable differs only according to title.Öğe The Relationship between Organizational Culture and Task Performance in Lean Hospitals: the Mediating Role of Organizational Culture(Atatürk Üniversitesi, 2021) Öngel, Volkan; Antep, ZehraThis study aims to determine the mediating role of organizational culture in the relationship between organizational change and task performance of lean hospitals. Also, the relationships among organizational change, organizational culture, and task performance variables were aimed to be determined in the research. Three main hypotheses were determined based on the research model. The structural equation model was performed to test hypotheses using the survey data received from 300 employees of two lean hospitals operating in Turkey. In terms of the relationship between organizational change and organizational culture, there is a positive relationship between adhocracy-clan culture and institutional policy in change, outcomes of change, and management style in change, while there is no significant relationship between resistance to change and adhocracy-clan culture. In terms of the relationship between organizational culture and task performance, there is a positive relationship between adhocracy-clan culture and task performance, while there is no significant relationship between market and hierarchy cultures and task performance. Araştırmada ayrıca, örgütsel değişim, örgüt kültürü ve iş performansı değişkenlerinin aralarındaki ilişkiler belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma modelinden hareketle üç ana hipotez belirlenmiştir.Araştırma modelinde sunulan hipotezler,yalın yönetim araçlarını uygulayan ve Bolu ilinde faaliyet gösteren bir kamu hastanesi ile Bursa ilinde faaliyet gösteren bir özel hastanede çalışan 300 personelden anket yöntemi ile alınan veriler kullanılarak yapısal eşitlik modeli yardımıyla test edilmiştir. Kavramsal modelle ilgili gerçekleştirilen analizler sonucundayalın yönetim araçlarını uygulayan sağlık kurumlarında örgütsel değişimin iş performansı üzerine etkisinde örgüt kültürünün kısmı aracılık rolüne sahip olduğunu ortaya çıkmıştır.Ayrıcaörgütsel değişimin örgüt kültürünüpozitif yönde kısmen etkilediği ortaya çıkmıştır. Bununla birlikte örgüt kültürünün de iş performansı üzerine pozitif yönde kısmen etkisi olduğu görülmektedir. Ortaya çıkan bulgular ışığında araştırmanın sonuçları tartışılmış, hem yöneticiler hem de akademisyenler için öneriler sunulmuştur.
