1st International "Reflections in Art and Design" Juried Online Group Exhibition Catalogue

The power of art lies in its ability to make visible the traces left by per-sonal and societal experiences in our inner world. In this context, the 1st International “Reflections in Art and Design” Juried Online Group Exhibition, organized by Istanbul Beykent University between May 5–9, 2025, aims to serve as a platform where the emotions, thoughts, and observations of artists and designers meet the audience.The theme “Reflections” was chosen to question the transformative power of art, the connection between individual identity and the outer world, and the impact of contemporary events on artistic expression. Reflections may embody the internal projection of a mood, the aesthe-tic manifestation of social transformations, or the reshaping of design through environmental and cultural influences.The diversity of submissions we received has revealed how richly this theme can be interpreted through creative approaches. With the cont-ributions of numerous distinguished artists at national and international levels, this curated selection aims to inspire viewers through the univer-sal language of art.We sincerely thank all the artists who contributed to this exhibition and the institutions that supported us, believing in the transformative power of art and the accessibility offered by digital platforms.
