Özet
Fashion is a phenomenon in which the desire for covering from the moment of humanity turns into pleasure of clothing over time and varies according to time and space. This phenomenon has become a sector by changing and developing with every passing day, with innovations ranging from the early ages to the modern era and brought by the modern age. Fashion can be shaped and changed according to the time frame of the society, current events, social, psychological and cultural values. There are many historical periods inspired by the designers influencing the fashion industry. One of these periods is Art Nouveau. In this study, Art Nouveau's research on the influence of the fashion sector was carried out. On this research was introduced with a general description of the fashion industry, followed by the Art Nouveau concept, the period, design features and Art Nouveau artists. Examples of designs were made during the period when Art Nouveau was active. In addition, Art Nouveau's place in the fashion industry today is mentioned, and the designs of world famous designers who have created collections inspired by Art Nouveau have been featured. It has been tried to determine whether this current, which has a lot of influence on art and architectural structures, has an effect on the fashion sector through the examples given.
