Özet
Avrupa'da bir birlik oluşturma fikri, 14. yüzyılın başlarına kadar gitmektedir. İlerleyen süreçte 17. yüzyılda Kant Avrupa Birleşik Devletleri'nin kurulması düşüncesini ileri sürmüştür. Bu Birlik düşünceleri ancak 19. yüzyılda hayata geçirilebilmiştir. Avrupa Birliği'nin ilk adı Avrupa Ekonomik Topluluğu olup, Hollanda, Fransa, Federal Almanya, Lüksemburg, Belçika ve İtalya arasında imzalanan Avrupa Kömür ve Çelik Topluluğu'nun başlaması ile olmuştur. Avrupa Birliği başlangıçta 6 ülke ile kurulmuş, günümüzde en son Hırvatistan'ın da katılımıyla 28 üyeli bir Birlik haline gelmiştir. Avrupa Birliği genel olarak ekonomik bir birlik temeline dayanarak kurulmuş, zaman içinde ekonomik temelin dışında siyasi, politik, hukuk vb. alanlarda da uyumlaştırılmış bir Birlik haline gelmiştir. Birlik üyelerinin ekonomileri arasındaki farklılıklar zaman zaman Birlik'in ekonomisini etkilemekle birlikte, Birlik üyelerinin aldığı tedbirlerle bu etkiler minimuma indirilmeye çalışılmaktadır. "Avrupa Birliği'nde Bölgelere Göre Firma Sayılarındaki Artışın ve Azalışın Kişi Başı Gelir Üzerindeki Etkisi" adlı bu çalışmada, Eurostat veri tabanından ham olarak NUTS-2 bazında ve Birliğe üye 28 ülkeden 15'inden elde edilen kişi başı gelir ve firma sayıları ele alınarak firma sayılarındaki artış veya azalışın kişi başı gelire etkisinin ölçülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde regresyon analizleri kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda Çek Cumhuriyeti, Bulgaristan, Macaristan, Polonya ve Romanya gibi Doğu ülkeleri ile beraber birde Fransa'da firma sayılarının kişibaşı gelir ile anlamlı bir ilişkisinin olduğu gözlenmiştir. Bu ülkelerde firma sayıları arttıkça kişibaşı gelirde artmakta aynı şekilde firma sayıları azaldıkça kişi başı gelirin de azaldığı görülmüştür. The idea building a union in Europe dates back early 14th century. In the upcoming years, Kant offered the idea, founding United States of Europe, in 17th century. These Union ideas, however, were actualized in 19th century. The first name of European Union is European Economic Community and it was formed in start of European Coal and Steel Community signed by Netherlands, France, Federative Germany, Luxemburg, Belgium and Italy. European Union was firstly founded by 6 countries and has become a 28-member-Union today after latest participation of Croatia. European Union was founded according to being generally based on economic unity and has become a Union which is adopted to diplomatic, political, law, etc. fields in addition to economic basis in time. While differences between the economies of the Union members, from time to time, affect Union's economy, these effects are tried to be minimized by the precautions that Union members take. In this study, named as "The Effect of Increase and Decrease in the Number of Companies in European Union upon Income Per Capita", it has been aimed at measuring the effect of increase and decrease in the number of companies upon income per capita through embracing income per capita and company numbers taken from 15 countries out of 28 in the Union on the basis of NUTS-2 crudely from Eurostat database. Regression analysis was utilized in data evaluation. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that there is a meaningful relationship between income per capita and number of companies in East countries such as Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and Romania in addition to France. It was seen that as the number of companies increase in these companies, income per capita increases; as that of companies decreases, again, income per capita decreases.
