Özet
Kadınlar, toplumu biçimlendiren ve dönüştüren kişilerdir. Toplumların geçirdiği tarihsel dönüşüme karşın Türkiye'de kadınlar önemli güçlükler yaşamaktadır. Bu güçlükler sadece sosyo-kültürel alanda değil yaşam hakkının dahi mümkün kılınmadığı bir güçlük biçimini almıştır. Günümüze yinelenen bu güçlükler insana ve yaşama dair sayılan her şeyin kadınlara yok sayılmasıdır. Çalışmanın temel amacı Türkiye'de kadına yönelik fiziksel şiddetin geleneksel medya haberleri çerçevesinde incelenmesi ve şiddetin toplumsal etkilerinin çözümlenmesi adına oluşturulan nicel araştırma yöntemine dahil olan yapılandırılmış anket ile alınan verilerin frekans analizi yapılarak grafiksel görselleştirme ve sanatsal çalışmalarla farkındalık sağlamaktır. Çalışma yapılırken kadın olgusu ve kadının toplumdaki yeri ve kadınlara yönelik geleneksel medya söylemleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışmada feminizm kavramına yer verilerek feminizmin alt başlıkları olan Liberal feminizm, Kültürel feminizm, Anarşist feminizm, Marksist feminizm, Varoluşçu feminizm, Radikal feminizm, Lezbiyen feminizm, Siyah feminizm ve 1980 yılı sonrası günümüz feminizm kültürü detaylandırılmıştır. Türkiye'de kadın özgürlüğü ile bağdaşmış feminizm kültürü, verilerin çözümlemesi ve anlamlandırılması noktasında kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma ile amaçlanan Türkiye'de kadına şiddetin medyada ve kadınlardaki yansımalarına veri sanatı aracılığıyla ışık tutmaktır. Türkiye'de kadına şiddet ve medya temelinde soruların mevcut olduğu bir anket hazırlanmıştır. 30 Mayıs- 19 Nisan tarihleri arasında 20 gün boyunca çözüme açık olan 18 yaş ve üzeri 474 kişinin katıldığı anket ışığında elde edilen verilerin frekans analizi sonucunda grafiksel görselleştirilmesi yapılmıştır.
Women are people who shape and transform society. According to the historical transformation of societies, women in Turkey face important difficulties. These difficulties are not experienced only in the socio-cultural field, but also the right to life is not made possible. These difficulties, which are repeated today, and are being ignored in any case that belongs to womens life. The main purpose of the work is to raise awareness with artistic works from graphical forms by making frequency analysis of the data obtained with the structured questionnaire, which is included in the quantitative research method created for the purpose of examining physical violence against women in Turkey within the framework of traditional media news and analyzing the social effects of violence. In addition, by including the concept of feminism in this work, the subtitles of feminism; Liberal feminism, Cultural feminism, Anarchist feminism, Marxist feminism, Existential feminism, Radical feminism, Lesbian feminism, Black feminism and today's feminism culture after 1980 are detailed. Feminism culture compatible with women's freedom in Turkey had been used in the analysis and interpretation of data. The aim of this work is to flash on the reflections of violence against women in the media through data art in Turkey. A questionnaire was prepared, that included questions on violence against women and the media in Turkey.The graphical visualization made of the data obtained in the light of the survey with the participation of 474 people aged 18 and over which was open for 20 days between May 30 and April 19.
