Özet
İnternet kullanımı gündelik yaşamımızda hızla yer almaktadır. İnternet bir bilgi ağıdır. Bilgi toplumu çağında gerekli bir hal almıştır. Ancak okula giden ergenlerin interneti kullanma oranları arttıkça öğrenmelerinde, iletişimlerinde de bazı sorunlar ortaya çıkmaktadır. İnternet kullanımının sınırsız ve denetimsiz olması bazı sorunları getirirken; her türlü bilgiye, kişilere çok kısa sürede ulaşılması da olumlu bir gelişmedir. Bu tezde; ergenlik döneminde internet kullanımının öğrenciye sağladığı eğitimsel yararları ya da zararları; aile, arkadaş gibi sosyal ilişkileri üzerindeki etkisi üzerinde durulmuş ve internet bağımlılığı kriterleri belirtilmiştir. 428 öğrenciye anket çalışması uygulanarak çıkan sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. Ergenlik döneminde öğrencilerin öğrenmeleriyle internet kullanımı arasında ters orantılı bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Nowadays, internet is being widely used in daily life. It is a commonplace of information gathering. Now, as we live in information era, internet is becoming more and more necessary. But, teenagers who go to school have more problems about learning and communicating than in the past. Due to unlimited and uncontrolled internet usage, they have such kinds of problems but at the same time they are able to reach all information that they wanted at shorter time. In this thesis, it is stated that what kinds of educational difficulties and enablers the teenagers have owing to internet. And it is also evaluated what effects the usage of internet has on the teenagers social relation with their families, and friends etc. Finally criteria on internet addiction are determined. A survey was taken to 428 students and survey results have been evaluated. It is understood that the more the students have used internet the less they become successful in their educational activity.
