| dc.description.abstract | Since 1990s Climate Change has become an inseparable part of the international politics and through diverse negotiations under United Nations (UN) structure notable number of agreements has been reached which constitutes the global climate change law today. United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change which is signed in 1992 is still stands as the fundamental text of this law and established a series of conferences where further negotiations took place to develop necessary measures through international agreements for climate action. This paper aims to investigate evolution of international climate change law through four major international agreements (UNFCCC, Kyoto Protocol, Copenhagen Accords, Paris Agreement) reached in these negotiations. In this way, it will reveal key controversy points in the negotiations and current situation of the global climate change regime. | en_US |
