dc.description.abstractBu tez çalışmasında, Bölgesel çatışmalar içinde Kıbrıs sorunun gelişim süreci ve bu gelişim süreci içinde Ada'daki Türklere karşı gerçekleştirilen saldırılar sonucunda ortaya çıkan Johnson Mektubu ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmada Kıbrıs sorunu, kökeninden itibaren ele alınmış, çatışmaların en şiddetli seviyelere ulaştığı 1960'lı yıllar ve K.K.T.C'nin kurulduğu 1983 yılına kadar olan gelişmeler analiz edilmiştir. Ada'daki çatışmaların yoğunlaştığı 1964 yılında ABD Başkanı tarafından yazılan Johnson Mektubu'nun Türk dış politikasına yaptığı etki açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Özellikle Türkiye-Amerika ilişkileri, Türkiye-SSCB ilişkileri ve Türkiye'nin Ortadoğu politikası üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu tezin diğer bir amacı da bölgesel ve uluslararası konularda nasıl hareket edilmesi gerektiğinin ortaya konmasıdır. Birinci bölüm bloklaşma ve bölgesel çatışma alanlarından, ikinci bölüm ise, Johnson Mektubu, bölgesel çatışmalar içinde Kıbrıs ve Kıbrıs sorunundan oluşmaktadır. İkinci bölümün son bölümlerinde ise; Çalışmanın Johnson Mektubu ile çalışmanın temelini oluşturan Türk-Amerikan ilişkilerinin bugünkü durumuna da yer verilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractIn regional clash, the duration of improvement of the Cyprs problem and also in this duration of improvement The letter of Johnson which was gotten thanks to the attacks on Turks who live in the island were the main subject of this thesis. In this study the problem of Cyprus was searched from its roots and also the attacks which were at the most violent level in the years of 1960?s and the improvements to 1983 in which North Cyprus Turkish republic was established, was analyzed. In 1964 when the clashes in island became dense, the letter of Johnson which was written by the president of USA and this letter?s effects on the Turkish Outside Politics was tried to describe Especially the relation between Turkey and America and Turkey and Russian and also Turkey?s Middle East Politics was mentioned. Another aim of this thesis is to show how to behave on regional and internatioal subjects. The first section consists of blocking and regional clashing, the second section consists of the letter of Johnson and the problem of Cyprus and the Cyprus in regional clashing. It was also mentioned about the basic study of today?s relations between Turkey and America and the letter of Johnson at the last part of the second section.
