Özet
Ötekileştirme; öncelikle tüm çağlardan bu yana toplumlarda süregelen, bireyin -toplumsal olandan ya da toplumun kendi iç kültür dinamiklerinden etkileşerek öğrendiği bir kavramdır. Genel olarak tarih boyunca azınlıklar ötekileştirmeye uğramışlardır. Çeşitli grupların günümüze kadar farklılaşarak devam ettiği bu süreçte sinema sanatının etkilenmesine yol açmıştır. Sinema malzemesini içerik olarak yaşamdan almıştır. Dünya ve Türk sinemasında da yaşamdan etkilenmiş ve ötekileştirme konulu filmlere rastlanmıştır. Öteden Beri adlı belgesel filminde ataları Afrika Kökenli Türk olan, Ayşe Sezer'e yer verilmiş ve ötekileştirme konulu bir tez projesi yapılmıştır.

Cinema has taken its material from life as content. In the world and Turkish cinema, films that were influenced by life and marginalization were found. Ayşe Sezer, whose ancestors are people from Turkey of African origin was featured in the documentary film "Ever Since" and a thesis project on "marginalization" was made.
