Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında toplumsal cinsiyet kavramının sağlık sektöründe çalışan bireyler üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiş, cinsiyet ve toplumsal cinsiyet kavramlarının temel farklılıklarına yer verilmiştir. Cinsiyet anne karnında oluşur ve biyolojik bir kavramdır; toplumsal cinsiyet ise bireyin yaşadığı toplum tarafından biyolojik kimliğine göre şekillendirilen normlar bütünüdür. Çalışmada bu kavramlar dahilinde toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği ve rollerin içinde bulunulan toplum içerisinde algılanışı konu edilmiştir. Tez çalışması kapsamında toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumların belirlenmesinde aile, arkadaş grupları okul ve iş çevresi ile kitle iletişim araçlarının etkisi irdelenmiştir. Kadın ve erkek kimliğinin toplumsal cinsiyet algısından etkilenişine değinilmiştir. Hemşirelere ilişkin toplumsal statü ve hemşirelik mesleğine yaklaşım düzeyinde medeni durumu ve çocuk sahibi olmasının etkili olduğu görülmüştür. Bunun yanında hemşireliğe ilişkin toplumsal statü ve hemşirelik mesleğine yaklaşımı, ataerkil gelenekler, eğitim düzeyi, cinsiyeti, sosyo-ekonomik düzeyi, örgütlenme ve medeni durum faktörleri etkilemektedir. Araştırma sonucu katılımcıların toplumsal statü düzeyinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. çalışanların demografik ve mesleki farklılıkları ile toplumsal cinsiyete bakış açıları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuçta; kadın ve erkeğin yaşadıkları toplum içerisinde toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine bağlı kalış düzeyleri incelenmiş; bu rollerin hem kadına hem de erkeğe bir takım yaptırım ve kısıtlamalar getirdiği, kadınların bu yaptırımlardan erkeklere nazaran daha fazla etkilendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. In this thesis, it is surveyed the impacts of social gender on individuals working in the health sector and explained the main differences between gender and social gender. Gender occurs in the womb and it is a biological concept; social gender is a set of standart which is shaped by the society living in the community according to the biological identity. In this study; within these concepts, social gender equality and the perception of the roles in society are included. While determining the attitudes towards social gender roles in this study, family, friends, work and school environment and mass media were examined. It is mentioned that male and female gender are affected by the social gender identity. It was stated that it has been effective in marital status and having children at the level of social status and approaching to nursing profession for nurses. Moreover, patriarchal traditions, education level, gender, socio-economic status , organizational factors and marital status have affected to the approach of nursing profession and social status. Research results have shown that participants have the high level of social status. It has been found out that there is a significant relationship between the demographic and profession differences of participants and their social gender perspectives. As a result , it has been examined the adaptation level of male and female social gender roles in the society they live; It has been concluded that these roles bring a number of sanctions and restrictions to both men and women , women are affected more than men by these sanctions.
