Özet
Çalışmanın amacı; bireyin mesleği, yaşama anlam katan en önemli doyum alanlarından biridir, bundan dolayı meslek yaşantısında doyumsuzluk yaşayan birey, olumsuz duygulara yönelir ve neticede işten ayrılma, işe devamsızlık, işe geç kalma, işi yavaşlatma gibi olumsuz sonuçları olabilmektedir. Bu bağlamda, sağlık hizmetleri sunumunda yer alan ebelerin, mesleki doyum düzeyleri ve bunu etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi önemlidir. Araştırma tanımlayıcı niteliktedir veriler ebelerin sosyo- demografik özelliklerinin sorulduğu anket formu ve 'Minesota İş Doyum Ölçeği' kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma, örneklem seçimine gidilmeden evrenin tümüne ulaşılması planlanarak, bahsi geçen hastanelerde görev yapan toplam 125 ebeye ulaşılmış ve anketler yüz yüze doldurularak onlardan teslim alınmıştır. (% 100) Bireysel ve kurumsal açıdan son derece önemli olan iş doyumu konusunda, ebe yöneticiler ve kurumun duyarlılık göstermesi, iyileştirici ve geliştirici önlemler alınarak yeni düzenlemelerin yapılması önemlidir, böylelikle, ebelik mesleğindeki verimlilik ve dolayısıyla ebeliğin verdiği sağlık hizmetinin kalitesi artacaktır. Ebelerde iş doyumunun bireysel (yaş, medeni hal, eğitim, kişilik özellikleri ve sosyo-kültürel çevre) ve kurumsal (iş ortamı ve koşulları, ücret, idari şekli ve idarecilerle ilişkiler, iş yerindeki iletişim, gelişme ve yükselme olanakları) faktörlerden etkilendiği belirlenmiştir.
