Özet
Bu çalışmada korku ve korku sineması hakkında geçmişten günümüze tanımlayıcı bilgilerin yanında korku sineması içinde önemli bir alt tür olan zombilerin özellikleri ortaya konup korku sinemasının tarihsel sürecinde değişen zombi imgesi, bu değişimi gerçekleştiren unsurlar, sosyal yapı, ekonomi, mekân, dış görünüş, makyaj ve teknoloji bakımından açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Kişiler psikolojik olarak kurgusal karakterlerle düşsel ve duygusal bir bağ kurmakta, kurgusal dünyanın sonuna gelene kadar özümsediği karakterlerle birlikte olayları yaşamaktadır. Korku sinemasının temelini oluşturan olgulardan en önemlisi olan ''Aile'' kavramını alışılagelenden farklı olarak ele alır. ''Aile her koşulda kutsaldır''. Aile, şartlar ne olursa olsun bozulmaz bir bütünü oluşturur. Bu zihniyetten yola çıkarak kişinin olaylar karşısında aile üyesine karşı gerçeki tutumları ve tepkileri üzerinden Parasosyal Gerçeklik Algısı'na değinilmiştir. Tez projesi kapsamında gerçekleştirilen ''Kardeşlik'' adlı kısa filmde, dünyanın sonunda hayatta kalmak için mücadele eden iki kız kardeşin mücadelesi, kaybetmeye ne kadar yaklaşırlarsa yaklaşsınlar aile bağlarının güçlülüğü sayesinde mücadeleye devam edişlerine yer verilmiştir. Yabancı bir adamla yolları kesiştiğinde hayatlarının en zor kararını vermek üzere kız kardeşler son gibi görünen bir başlangıça güdüsel bir geçiş yapmışlardır. Her şey bittiğinde aslında karakterlerimizin parasosyal gerçeklik kapsamında bir kısır döngüye giriş ve film içinde film düşüncesi ile karakterlerin gerçekliği sorgulaması ve her şeyin yeniden başlıyor oluşuyla film sonlanmıştır.
In this study, in addition to descriptive information about horror and horror cinema from the past to the present, the characteristics of zombies, which are an important sub-genre in horror cinema, are revealed, the zombie image that has changed in the historical process of horror cinema, the factors that make this change, social structure, economy, place, appearance, make-up and technology has been tried to be explained in terms of. People psychologically establish an imaginary and emotional bond with the fictional characters and experience the events with the characters they assimilate until the end of the fictional world. The concept of Family, which is the most important phenomenon that forms the basis of horror cinema, is different from the usual, "Family is sacred under all circumstances. It creates an incorruptible whole no matter what the conditions are." Parasocial Reality Perception has been mentioned through the person's real attitudes and reactions towards the family member in the face of events, starting from his mentality. In the short film "Brotherhood", which was made within the scope of the thesis project, the struggle of two sisters struggling to survive at the end of the world, and the way they continue to struggle thanks to the strength of their family ties, no matter how close they come to losing, is featured in the film. When they cross paths with a strange man, the sisters make an instinctive transition to a beginning that seems like an end when they meet this stranger to make the most difficult decision of their lives. When everything was over, the movie ended with our characters entering a vicious circle within the scope of parasocial reality and the characters questioning reality with the idea of a movie within the movie, and everything started again.
