Kurumsal kültürde nepotizm ve sinizm gölgeleri: İş tatminindeki rollerinin derinlemesine incelenmesi

Özet
İnsan yaşamının belirli bir refah düzeyinde sürdürülebilmesi amacıyla ihtiyaç duyulan en önemli unsur olarak çalışma hayatı karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Çalışma hayatının en temel özelliklerinden birisi de kişilerin bir arada çalışma ortamında bulunmasıdır. Bu durumun sonucu olarak, örgütsel ilişkiler ön plana çıkmaktadır. Örgütsel ilişkilerde çalışanların karşı karşıya kaldığı birtakım sorunlar da dikkat çekmektedir. Nepotizm ve örgütsel sinizm, son zamanlarda bu sorunların başında gelen önemli kavramlardır. Çalışma hayatındaki rekabetin getirdiği hızlı ilerleme ve öngörülen başarı hedefinin yakalanabilmesi sürecinde yapılan işin gerektirdiği niteliklere sahip olmayan kişilerin, istihdam veya terfi etmesi durumlarına her daim rastlanılabilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın ana amacı, nepotizm ve örgütsel sinizmin iş tatminine nasıl etkisi olduğunu incelemektir. Nepotizm, genel anlamda sinizm, örgütsel sinizm ve iş tatmini kavramları sırasıyla literatür taraması bağlamında araştırılarak kapsamlı bir şekilde ele alınmıştır. Ardından nepotizm ve örgütsel sinizm kavramlarının, iş tatmini ile olan ilişkileri ve etkilerini analiz edilmek amacıyla kurumsal şirketlerde çalışan personelin katılımı ile yapılan ankete dayanan bir çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada, nepotizm, örgütsel sinizm ve iş tatmini hakkında belirlenen ölçekler yazar tarafından hazırlanarak tek bir anket formu haline getirilmiştir. Hazırlanan anket formu, çevrimiçi olarak katılımcılara ulaştırılmıştır. Ölçeklerden elde edilen verilere göre istatistiksel analizler SPSS programı aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Working life appears to us as the most important element needed in order for human life to be maintained at a certain level of well-being. One of the most basic features of working life is the presence of people in a working environment decoupled together. As a result of this situation, organizational relationships come to the fore. A number of problems faced by employees in organizational relations also attract attention. Nepotism and organizational cynicism are important concepts that have recently come to the forefront of these problems. In the process of rapid progress brought by competition in working life and achieving the projected success goal, it can always be encountered that people who do not have the qualifications required by the work are employed or promoted. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of nepotism and organizational cynicism levels on job satisfaction. The concepts of nepotism, cynicism in general, organizational cynicism and job satisfaction have been investigated in the context of literature review and dealt with extensively. Then, a study based on a survey conducted with the participation of academic staff working at foundation universities was conducted in order to analyze the relationships and effects of the concepts of nepotism and organizational cynicism with job satisfaction. In the study, the scales determined about nepotism, organizational cynicism and job satisfaction were prepared by the author and turned into a single questionnaire form. The prepared survey form was delivered to the participants online. According to the data obtained from the scales, statistical analyses were performed through the SPSS program.
