Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, modern stratejik yönetim tekniklerinden kaos teorisi ve mavi okyanus teorisinin, firmaların genel performansı üzerindeki etkileri İstanbul ilinden rassal örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 204 kişiden toplanan anketlerle analiz edilmiş, herhangi bir etkisi var ise bu etkilerin ne yönde olduğu belirlenmeye çalışılarak bu teoriler üzerine çalışan araştırmacılara ve işletme yöneticilerine faydalı olabilecek sonuçlar elde edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Küreselleşen dünya ekonomisi, birçok firmanın hızlı bir şekilde pazara girmesini kolaylaştırdığı gibi aynı zamanda pazardaki yerini korumasını ve sağlamlaştırmasını da zorlaştırmaktadır. Modern dünyada rekabetin fazla olması sebebiyle pazara giren tüm firmalar yerini koruyabilmek için modern stratejik yönetim tekniklerini kullanmak zorunda kalmaktadır. Rekabet ortamında firmalar ayakta kalabilmek için klasik pazar kalıplarının dışına çıkıp mavi okyanus stratejisi kullanarak kendi pazarlarını oluşturmak zorunda kalacağı, aynı zamanda Türkiye gibi gelişmekte olan bir ekonomide belirsiz olan ekonomik ve yönetsel gelişmeler karşısında daha olumlu sonuçlar alabilmek için kaos teorisini kullanabileceği çalışmamızda ortaya konmuştur. Yapılan analizler sonucunda modern stratejik yönetim tekniklerinden kaos yaklaşımı ve mavi okyanus stratejisinin işletme performansları üzerine olumlu etkileri olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır Anahtar Kelimeler : Kaos Teorisi, Mavi Okyanus Stratejisi, Firma Performansı
In this study the impact of chaos theory and blue ocean strategy as modern management strategies on organisational performance has been studied via questionnaires delivered to 204 participants chosen by random sampling in İstanbul, and if there is an impact, the direction of the impact has been determined in order to reach the results which will ve useful for researchers and organisation managers. Global world economy makes it easy for organisations to enter the market whereas makes it difficult to maintain their place and strengthen their position. Due to high competitiveness in modern world all organisations in the market have to use modern strategic management techniques. In this study it is stated how organisations need blue ocean strategy to survive in such a competitive environment and how they need to use chaos theory in Turkey, a country with a developing economy under unclear economic and managerail developments. It has been put forward that chaos theory and blue ocean strategy as modern management techniques have positive impact on organisational performance.
