Birbirlerini, kültür, sanat, yemek, dokuma gibi akla gelebilecek pek çok alanda etkilemişlerdir. Tekstil de bu alanların en önemlilerinden biridir. Anadolu da gelişen dokumacılık sanatı, her dönem çevre kültürlerle etkileşim içerisinde gelişmiştir. Özellikle İran, Safevi'lerinin Anadolu dokuma kültürü üzerindeki etkisi çok büyüktür. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye ve Ortadoğu'nun geçmişten günümüze giyim- kuşam ve kültür tarihleri açıklanarak, tekstil ve kumaş karşılaştırmaları yapılmış, kumaşların detaylı analizleri ile birbirlerine olan etkileri saptanmaya çalışılmıştır.Purpose of the study; Turkey the effect of the textile industry in the Middle East to determine.
