Balkan Harbi, Osmanlı toplumunda büyük infial yaratmış, özellikle Şark Ordusu'nun yenilgileri, Bulgarların ancak Çatalca'da durdurulabilmesiyle sonuçlanmış ve Garp Ordusu'yla bağlantısının kesilmesine yol açmıştır. Bu çalışma, kurmay subayların perspektifinden Osmanlı ordusunu, harbe hazırlık süreçlerini ve çatışma dinamiklerini analiz ederek askeri tarih çalışmalarına yeni bir yaklaşım sunmayı amaçlamaktadır.This thesis conducts a comparative analysis of the first-person narratives authored by staff officers who actively served during the Balkan Wars. Recent research has emphasized the importance of ego document in historiography and has shown that history can be better understood when written with the support of individual experiences. The Balkan War caused great indignation in Ottoman society, especially the defeats of the Eastern Army resulted in the Bulgarians being stopped only at Çatalca and their connection with the Western Army being cut off.
