The framework is developed by combining Monte Carlo simulation, AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and VIKOR (VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje) methods under fuzzy environment. The AHP is used to obtain relative weights of evaluation criteria for GSCM practices. The VIKOR is used to generate the rankings according to GSCM performance, and then to recommend the best performing organizations. This framework offers a new way of dealing with uncertainties resulting from decision makers' incomplete and/or vague information by utilizing the Monte Carlo simulation. An illustrative case is used as well to exemplify the proposed approach. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd.
